Shouldn't the power draw remain the same but adjust the total time it takes to open instead?

While this mod is working with the current version of the game, the doors don't function quite right.

If you set them up to automatically close when meteors are incoming and then open back up after it passes they will not properly refresh their state to being 'transparent' after automation opens them back up.

What this means is that space scanners and telescopes below the doors do not function after a meteor shower.

You can get them to refresh by either manually closing and opening them, or by restarting the game. Regardless, that sort of defeats the whole point of automation.

Any way you could add in that they can be built with a few more materials such as ones with better radiation blocking? Would love to make a single door rad protection silo (or 2, doesnt need to be OP)

@Jarodamus Prime - when you do that, could you also consider adding nobium and thermium to the build materials?
it just seems to me that bunker doors could be also made out of more advanced materials too.

great for spaced out rockets because of their odd size, but a 7 tile door is needed for the larger rockets. Great mod

Any thoughts on adding an actual 7 tile wide bunker door {with matching steel and power usage}?

The 5 tile wide door is nice but does not actually allow the 7 wide rockets to fit through. The rocket destroys those on either side.

I've unsubscribed, resubscribed, and enabled it by itself. This mod keeps crashing when loaded, ever since the automation update.

can you fix the automation wire reaction? I was trying to have a switch system for my rockets to close my base off before opening the doors above the rocket but instead of opening or closing them it will enable or disable the doors

I have been using this mod for a long time, but today all my bunker doors disappeared and I can't figure out hot to get them to reappear. any ideas.

Looks like you abandoned any advancing this. Would've been nice to get a configurable sized door with proper animations. I'm sure some other modders would've been willing to help. Maybe someone will pick this up and give it what it's due.

those graphics could use some reworking but the idea is neat!
just stretching the original door graphics to the desired width gives a wierd feeling to the danger stripes of the doors
