No, it doesn't work in 1.4. Please use the All-in-one animal mod instead, look at my workshop to find it.

No, but it means creating such a patch is extremely low priority, as I don't use Dubs Hygiene and I don't even know how it works.

It's like asking me to translate the mod to French. I don't speak french. I can do it once I have nothing else to do.

Hello Kitsune,

In order to translate the wool, I had to make this patch in my translation mod. However, I did put in the description of my Mod that it will cause errors (or even the disappearance of any item made from this wool) if my translation Mod is added or removed from an existing save.

I had to do a similar thing for the Vanilla Books Expanded mod for the DefName VBE_Blueprint.

The Camel(haven't tried the others) doesn't appear in the auto-slaughter tab. I hope it is an easy fix :)

Do even camels spawn in the wild? I've never seen one before, and when checking the xml files I can see no <wildBiomes> tag for camels (although I'm no modder so perhaps this is intentional).

Also, perhaps camels should only spawn in extreme desert (and maybe even desert)? They're clearly better than dromedaries, so it would encourage more people to do extreme desert bases if if they were exclusive to only that biome.

Not sure if this was intended, but I was creating a compatibility patch between this mod and another and while looking through the animal xml I noticed that the camel doesn't have the <wildBiomes> tag so I don't think it's actually able to spawn in the wild. (Excuse me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty new to patching lol)

I unsubscribed and resubscribed to see if it was a fluke and the tag is still missing after resubscribing.

Why did you feel the need to add a camel into the game? Dromedary is just another name for Camel. Specifically a subspecies of camel, but its the subspecies of camel everyone thinks of when they hear camel.

Can’t do that. The only reason it’s there is because it was originally in RimWorld but Tynan removed it, thus breaking saves for several people. We added it back in to save those saves.

There is no WoolCamel in vanilla game anymore.

Does the megascorpion appear in your new insectoid mod? Seems like a decent little combat unit for the insectoids, not neccesarily for vat growing.

There is no easy way to make a patch that ‘finds if something is missing and then readds it’.

He did delete it. It’s not in any xml. Perhaps he left it in translation Keyes, which is what you’re basing your knowledge on. WoolCamel doesn’t exist in any code in the game anymore. People who had anything made out of that wool before the patch got their saves corrupted. Me readding WoolCamel as a ThingDef fixed it. If I remove it as you say I should, it will break for people again.

Tynan did not delete "woolcamel", but hid it.
You use defname "woolcamel" directly have caused the tag to be untranslatable. I used try to change it so that it can be translated normally.

Leather, yes. Not wool. Wool is a shearable resource. Vanilla dromedary doesnt have it anymore, but camel added by this mod has.

Core doesn't defname "woolcamel" is not means “camel” does not exist in core, "Camel" remains Dromedary' key word to generate its matching leather、meat、etc.
You can find example at *\RimWorld\Data\Core\Defs\ThingDefs_Races line513 .

I have decided to call it WoolCamel for one reason only. This mod, among others, relied on Camel wool, which Tynan removed from the game in one of the patches for 1.1. This caused the game to break for a large number of people. I have re-added this wool to fix people's saves.

*\1.1\Defs\ThingDefs_Items line44 THE defName"WoolCamel" is conflict with rimworld core will lead to translation failure. It is suggested to change to "AEXP_WoolCamel"
I guess the reason is that the defname "woolcamel" exists in the core of version 1.0, while the defname "woolcamel" no longer exists in the core of version 1.1

The crash was different this time, some Unity stuff came up and the game closed. No new logs or anything to work off of which is strange. I can still start new worlds with no crashes so I'm beginning to think that save is just cursed, which is a shame.

Use this mod instead of the one from the workshop. This mod also adds Yak wool to the game.
