Don't think you do completely, but there might be models used in the map that are in the addon itself that might then come up as missing model errors.
We currently don't have an individual check of each gma, therefore everything is required to make it work.

Then it could be that you've got conflicting addons that are causing the crash or in some cases that your game is corrupted. I'd suggest you to follow our troubleshooting steps by doing a clean install with only wire and cap installed to then see if it works on your computer or not.
Does it also happen when you just play on GM_Flatgrass or gm_construct?

You should move this file to maps/thumb/
At the moment it is just in the dev version of GMod, but it will be for everyone soon.
I saw that, but I didn't think it would work with what I was going to try. :3
The way entities in CAP spawn on maps is by using gatespawners, you can read more about it here: http://sg-carterpack.com/wiki/extras/
I have good knowledge of SDK, I just am not sure how to make entities from CAP be automatically placed in my map. I was wondering if there was a .fgd file available for download or something. Just anything that would help me do this.

You must have conflicting addons, remove every addon and only keep CAP + Wire
You must be new but CAP doesn't have any mappers.
There's also an extra map included into the CatWalkBuild pack of this!
