While i like the LT_commander mesh, i also wanna feel like i dont wanna stray too far from the original packs assets, both cannot coexist because of how the NPC bodygroups work with the RNG script (already pushing 53 different headgear variations).
Collision models need to have the exact same bones as the main model as the only requirement, Playermodels and NPCs use the universal to source valvebiped rig, which is why i can just apply the citizen one easily, do not replace the phys file unless you know what you are doing.
"it just seems pretty weird that the "combine solider" (the "sas" with the metropolice gasmask) has so good physics but the rest dont, given they use the same body mesh??"
What, i removed those from the pack ages ago.
anyhow the your characters got gaskmasks so the snout should be fine either way right?
really enjoy the body groups, big thumbs up
they do appear to fall slowly and "keep upright" and overall pretty stiff as it is now.
it just seems pretty weird that the "combine solider" (the "sas" with the metropolice gasmask) has so good physics but the rest dont, given they use the same body mesh??
the lua randomizes the bodygroups every time a NPC is spawned for the first time, im about to add two more now that i forgot after testing.
is there a way to summon the specific bodygroup preset?
Is there any reason to this?
Sorry to add more, but I mean I myself love the new ones, what with them all just being a part of one subgroup rather than seperate models.
I noticed there are a lot of models, so it would be nice to not have *so* many on one mod pack.
cant say for sure if it will come to fruition and then the amount of models and size of the addon with decrease by a lot, but throwing that out there.
Btw this mod is great and I will make sure to credit this mod!
I just think the gasmask guys are really cool!
the only thing ive found that could work will not compile and i have to break face flexes and eyeballs (no pupils) to get it to work, turning the different heads into bodygroups on the same body will not work.
tldr if i add another set its gonna be 100MBs more space at least.
similar idea to the combine models conceptually.
Thank you for this awesome addon!
