CX is creative xenos they are modders responsible adding uber strong variants of the common aliens you encounter in vanilla xcom.
MOCX is a huge mod adding the equivalent of EXALT in Enemy WIthin (DLC of XCOM)
ABA means A better Advent a mod that enhances vanilla enemies.

This modders will make your xcom campaign harder and better (imo)

As someone new to Xcom2 (Like, I finally get to play it for real, with a better gfx card that won't make the game die with 3 fps at the best of times.)
I would like to know what the CX stands for, MOCX and ABA too.
I have added mostly QOL mods and also a cheat vest mod for when the game decides that i'm not allowed to have any more fun :/ (I love modding!!)

I've used this mod with the allies unknow myself, but no it does not seem to affect them. I've looked at the ini files of some of the Allies unknown, and their hit points are set to a specific value. If I had to guess, this is why their hit points remain constant. Side note, I use Point base not created equal as well, and again, any stat value set in the Allies ini remains unchanged with that as well.

Does this mod mess with any of the Allies Unknown mods, like would the Viper's health be buffed or the Krogan's health de-buffed?

Hey, for some reason It's still starting some soldiers off at 3 health. I'm on commander difficulty. Anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

I thought this would make me feel like cheating when I got it, but playing on legendary/ironman/nodeaths with mods :xcom2ranger: , I feel like this has actually balanced the game.

Your Hive mod brought me here, and glad to see this exists haha. I've been running Point Based Not Created Equal and very often soldiers below 5 health just didn't see any play. Looking forward to using this in my next run. Cheers!

@Noob Train A Better Rookie is what you're after, though it's insanely OP: massive buffs all round. I edited it down to only provide 5 health and 15 dodge, and that's dandy. Dodge is nice, random, so it fits into the spirit of XCOM. You can simply erase or edit all lines you don't care for, and they are self explanatory. Author provided base values also.

I wish this mod was expanded to support all starting stats (configurable in the INI). This way players could custom tune their starting soldier and rookie stats.

Just noticed that there is a + missing in the .ini file under the Soldier_Diff_3 X2CharacterTemplate, i'm guessing it should be there, considering it's next to all the others.

@Ludwig, the utility slot number is not a feature of this mod... its the standard number in the base game and still works with the more utility slots mod. So not sure what you mean by you can confirm these mods are not compatible? Again... im using both mods and have been since i made this mod and the only thing in this mod Ive altered is the HP stat for starting soldiers to the same HP in all difficulty levels. But just to prove it to you, im uploading a new patch to this mod that ONLY has the HP change and I assure you, whatever your conflict is, it will still be there and is not a cause of this mod.

There is however another option to make the mod work:
Your config file has a configuration for number of utility slots you can have. Which is kind of another feature you should put in description

when was the last time you cleaned your config folder?

go to Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config

delete the whole config folder. Start your game to the main screen, exit back to desktop and then restart.

you need to start the game twice for it to rebuild a clean config folder.

Utility slots is a UI based mod. This mod is a pure ini mod. Should be no conflicts at all between the 2. What other mods have you subbed to recently.

I’m not having any issues with more utility slots. I’m using both right now and no issues. All this mod does is make all soldier difficulty levels start with 6 HP when rookies.

So it seem like this will override the More Utility Slots, I had both of these activated and this mod overrides it.

yes in the ini as well as many other stats if you want. I just included them all. But all I changed was the HP stats.

Nice little mod, as someone who uses a lot of enemy mods plus Point Based Not Created Equal, getting 3 HP on my soldiers renders them useless for awhile. At least now they won't be one shots anymore.

I assume the starting HP is editable in the Characterstats ini of the mod? asking before i possibly tinker with the amount, considering lowering it by 1 due to Not Created Equal.
