Thanks. I really liked the feature of assaulting walls with weapon teams to unleash warpstone fury on the enemy from above.

Okay leaving this post here in advance for the dlc & sfo update on improving ratling guns/warpfire throwers performance:

You should spread your ratlings/warpfires in rows of two, spreading them out too thin like I originally suggested hampered performance in a way because of how fire arc/unit targeting works in this game. The most number of rows these units will optimally fire at is two. In addition, enemy units in the center of the firing arc displayed when selecting/hovering over the unit have a greater chance of being targeting as opposed to units just touching the sides of the firing arc.

Also units struggle to hit units right at/climbing the walls but you should be retreating the weapons teams at this point in the battle...

@[Falcon] A. Pierce If they just won't fire then there isn't anything else I could do that wouldn't mess with their performance outside of battle; hopefully when game 3 rolls around they will rework sieges and have some dedicated artillery/weapon team spots on walls.

@Scicotheron, thanks for replying so fast! That's what I did, I spread them out to a single line, but it still did not help. It's not that some didn't fire. Not a single gun out of 6 weaponteams fired a single shot. Annoying. :(

Pierce Think I made a note/comment about this earlier concerning warp fire throwers/ratling guns; the issue stems from the unit's hitboxes and low arc of fire/range causing it to get obstructed a lot by the walls and the unit itself. Suggest holding right click and dragging the cursor with the unit selected on the wall to spread it out to improve firing effectiveness.

@Scicotheron, sadly enough ratling gunners don't fire at all when on Skaven walls. Even when giving an attack order, they don't seem to be doing anything at all. Any possible fixes for this? :(

@Scicotheron Yes, "Brutal Battles 2" does overwrite "Weapon Teams on Walls" in some way. Weapon Teams on Walls is at the top of the load order and the second mod I load out of 55. Brutal Battles 2 is loaded at number 9. I tried to place Weapon teams at n.10 in the load order but it did not change anything unfortunately.

@Konev I think I remember it being mods higher in the load order would overwrite mods lower then them. From what I've glimpsed at Brutal Battles 2 makes a lot of changes to unit tables like the one I modified so don't expect perfect compatibility.

Hey. I love this mod but I could not get this mod to work in my game. After deactivating mods in Kaedrin`s mod manager I have discovered that this mod conflict with the mod "Brutal Battles 2". While "Brutal Battles 2" is active this mod gets deactivated somehow. I tried changing the load order by placing "(SFO) Weapon Teams on Walls" after "Brutal Battles 2" but it unfortunately did not have any effect. It is perhaps not very surprising? But is there some way to make these two mods compatible or am I forced to choose?

What a lot of modders do is just make a dummy table/part of the mod with a date, and just change that to be an "update" even when no real update was necessary. Helps avoid ppl asking for updates haha

yes, I checked the data tables and no change was made to the entries I changed, even if I hit the update button steam won't changed the "last updated" unless any changes was made to the file.
