Depending on your PC it can take a while to load. That being said this is an old scenario and we don't have the files anymore so fixes are not gonna happen unfortunately @jmaster

Yeah, this still works as intended, as far as I can tell. Fun little scenario. Not super balanced (ran around with the M9 and shot everyone), and I wish there was a way to skip the MG2 cutscenes on subsequent playthroughs, but it's obvious that a lot of care went into this.

I made sure to disable the installed independent MGSR mod, and only use the version bundled with the MG2 Addons mod, when running this, and it worked fine, if anyone's still floating around and wanting to get this to work.

I think the stealth mechanic is a bit broken, as at times I've had guards become alert to my presence by seeing me through obstacles. Noticed this at the Entrance zone immediately after picking up the M9 and moved back behind the wall and still somehow triggered an alert. Again in the Desert zone, where I triggered a alert after being detected by the troops inside the tower and also discovered you can triggered a alert by being slightly exposed from cover as to peek over a obstacle only to be spotted.

You could run MGSR alongside the mods needed, maybe that will fix it. Not sure.

I think it's cos they replaced the MGSR SV vest with the SV vest from the fatigues mod, which looks better and has a different shade of green idkt

I see the issue now. The disks don't show as addons as they are scenarios and can be found in the scenarios tab.

Let me try putting my problem a different way. I have subscribed to every addon here, they are all available in my Steam workshop item subscriptions page, but when I go to load the Arma 3 launcher, the Solid Snake Disc 1 and 2 addons are nowhere to be found. (I've included two links to images showing what I'm talking about).

As you'll see by these screenshots, the only result from searching for these addons is the actual Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake Addons pack, not Discs 1 and 2, which is what I'm confused about.

Can confirm they are still showing up in my subscriptions. Try making a preset with only the required addons to see there might be a conflict with another addon.

Hey guys, not sure what's going on here, but even though I've been subscribed to these addons for a long time and use them every time I play Arma 3, for some reason they're not showing up in the launcher all of the sudden. I know I'm subscribed to everything required, as everything was working just yesterday, but now both Disc 1 and 2 won't show up.

Any information would be appreciated, I'm really not understanding how this is possible.

Not sure. The medical is heavily scripted to work the way we want it too. How much is needed we don’t even know and are pretty hesitant to put a time scale on it, let’s just go with eventually. In the mean time you could run SSPCM and heal yourself that way so you can continue.

Ace medical had a rewrite so the settings in the mission will need to be updated, as of now there’s not a lot you can do about it until we can fix it.

I was unaware but it seems that a recent update to Arma 3 broke the virtual arsenal and made all weapon attachments vanish after loading a save.:steamfacepalm: I have tested it on the development build and it seems to work fine there. Another workaround for anyone who doesn't want to switch to dev build is to just restart the scenario and use the level selector to teleport to your last location instead of loading.

This has been an amazing journey. I am very thankful for all the positive feedback I have gotten over the past year. I am very proud of what me and [Λ]Farsight have been able to accomplish here. I will likely have one more update for this scenario fixing bugs and adding better optimization. New update just uploaded.:steamhappy: Added decoys, deployable ladder, barrier and turret. Added a supplies crate that can be summoned from anywhere and contains all of the items you have collected within the game. Added options to change music to any track within game, also added a level selector that can instantly teleport you to any section of the game "This could also be used to backtrack to previous sections to look for any items you may have missed". All items, weapons ect.. are now labeled so that you know what item you are picking up before grabbing it.

Still here lol, I've been working on alot of stuff, adding an inventory system, life gauge, camo meter, placeable decoys, better alert phase and more boss fights. It's gonna be a few months before I get it all finished though, barely have any time at all to work on this stuff anymore.:steamsad:

Sale Arma-man This was originally just going to be one mission but it wouldn't let me upload because of the file size "likely due to all the cutscenes" So after trying several other things I finally settled on just splitting it up into 2 parts. We are going to be making more Metal Gear content though "It's an addiction for me at this point".:steammocking:

Would you be down on helping me and [Λ]Farsight on our next MG mission? were still in the planning stages and probably wont start working on it for a few months but were considering making the final mission that was cut from phantom pain "Mission 51" using all the concept art and cutscenes that are available.
