I don't know how that mod works, or how it is failing. Are you talking about the level up message itself? You can just edit that yourself, and use whatever language you prefer.

Using any other mods that are related to skills?
The best thing to do is to remove half of your mods and see if it still happens, and keep removing half until you've pinpointed the mod causing it.
Thanks for checking! I'm glad that fixed it.
No tip needed, but I appreciate the sentiment 😊
Hey! Just tested after a couple of hours of gameplay and I'm no longer getting any notification in non-awakened Androids! Tried with awakened Androids and the notifications do seem to be working for them which is good.
Working fine with normal human pawns too. Thank you very much man! If you have a tip jar I would gladly leave something for the effort! : )
I managed to push a bug fix just now that might actually also fix the leveling issue for Androids. Would you mind having a look at that next time you play? Make sure Steam has downloaded the latest version - v5.3.1.
Sorry, I am not on my PC for a while (on vacation) so can't check properly.
Either way, I doubt I will add special compatibility for VRE, unless it turns out the fault lies in LevelUp. Hoping you can get the vanilla team to respond to your bug report.
It's just that I have my Android in perpetual component creation duty and the notifications get a bit much even with the anti-spam cooldown. Was wondering if we could maybe get a mod option where you could select which which pawns you don't care to receive such notifications. Would even be useful outside Androids for huge colonies. Of course if not that's fine and I totally get it, it won't stop me from playing with the mod haha
LevelUp only checks if the level has changed for a pawn after getting xp, using a skill trainer, or adding/removing a gene. If level has changed, then the notification is shown. If VRE Androids get level up notifications, then their level most likely has changed in one of the above ways. It sounds to me like a bug with VRE, and should be fixed on their end.
Of course I could be wrong, but i would start by checking with VRE.
I was using this mod and it just updated it's self and says it's a mismatched version now.

Game-breaking as you cannot trade with settlements, caused by this mod.
Can you double-check that you are using the latest version of the mod - 5.1.1? I just updated it a few hours ago with a fix. Let me know if it still doesn't work with the latest version.
When I use your mod, I can't trade on the market.
Correct, it supports 1.5 and 1.6 going forward. However, if you're still on 1.4 and want to continue using it, you can download any of the older versions from the Releases on GitHub (linked in description).
Yeah, you can configure that in the mod settings.
I'm not aware of any issues. When you say you cannot access the config in game, you mean Level Up options doesn't show in the mod options?
Glad you got it working 👍
The mod settings are not located with the mod, its saved in something like AppData/Local/Ludeon Studios/Config/mod settings etc. Don't remember exactly, I'm away from my pc atm. There should be a file named something like ModSettings_LevelUp. Removing that and restarting will recreate a working version of it again.
I already tried deleting the mod (removing any leftover files in the content folder) and re-downloading he mod, but the issues persisted.
I'll try the Github version later, see if that fixes it
EDIT - It didn't
Hmm... Did you by any chance load Level Up in a 1.5 game, and then switched to 1.4 and loaded it there? The mod settings are not compatible going 1.5-.14. That could be the issue you're experiencing. Can you try and delete the mod settings file?

I pushed a fix for it just a few minutes ago. Could you make sure the new version of the mod has been downloaded, restart Rimworld, and see if you still get the error?
