Also, I've tried to use the Modded Bosses/Elites mode with the Ruina and Downfall mods, and neither of them appear to work - you just get the normal bosses.
Aside from the ones mentioned, the only mods I have installed are Act Like It, Mintyspire, and the Relic Stats mod, so I don't think any of those should be causing these issues considering they haven't caused issues before?

So, expected behavior is that the postCreateStartingRelics event operates once across all mods, when the game first loads.
Observed behavior is that the postCreateStartingRelics event operates when the game first loads, and when the player completes (win or lose), "Save & Quit"s, or abandons a run.
I haven't noticed any errant behavior as a result of this, but I have observed significant amounts of lag when a lot of character mods are installed alongside Challenge the Spire. I feel like it might be good to optimize that a bit.
After doing some digging just now, it looks like the campfire crash bug is from an interaction with Hubris. I'll try to have a patch out for that very soon. Playing without Hubris should solve that for now.
I have run into the, save and quit on a boss chest soft locks the game, bug. Currently you can save and quit in any room, except the boss chests. There will be a patch for that soon as well
That interaction has been fixed, so hopefully that should stop the crashes that were happening with custom characters.
