Had this mod for ever and never had trouble, did it break in 7,10? Admittedly I was flying a ship from a mod but I don't recall it have any problems before, Teleport research is maxed and I had two ships within spitting distance.

something the base game should be these annoying game over is a truely fun and game breaker why we cant just select other ship on map and respawn there had been much more fun i will enjoy ur mod searched something like this a long time :)

Recently I noticed that it works with escape pod enabled.
First you escape in pod but soon after that you teleport.

I mean mod - escape pod. Didn't know that Egosoft implemented such thing.
I guess mod works in similar manner so probably also need to turn it off.

If you're talking about the thing Egosoft built in, then I'm pretty sure it takes priority all the time. So basically no. You have to turn it off.

Is it compatible with escape pod? So if I'm in teleport range I am teleported, otherwise use escape pod?

Works with 4.2, if you have Cradle of Humanity turn off the auto eject system in game settings.

Anyone had this mod cause a bug with Sweet Jack? It’s meant to be indestructible but I get ejected and it blows up. Means I can’t progress the Terran plot line.

Yes, but you might have to disable Egosoft's eject feature in the options menu for it to work. I'm not sure which would take priority if they're both enabled.

Hey @Mysterial, just found an incompatible mod with yours. If you are using iforgotmysocks mod Ventures to allow for Ventures in modified games then your ship will sometimes select a ship that is on a Venture, which will essentially fail.

Also just had a game over even though I was piloting my Dragon while I had several Balaurs, couple of Cobras, 4 destroyers and 1 auxillary all in the same system, and I have level 2 teleport research.

Does adding the logging add additional performance overhead?

Unless you can reproduce the issue reliably with a save, the only thing I can suggest is to enable debug logging by adding this to your launch options:
-scriptlogfiles -logfile debuglog.txt -debug all

Then if it breaks when you think it shouldn't, send me the log file and I'll see if it tells me anything. I personally haven't had it fail in a very long time.

Also just got a gameover. I have all the teleportation tech researched, and 100 or so ships strewn all over the place. If there weren't any others in-sector with me, there were probably ones just next door. Not that it should matter, considering you know, all teleportation tech researched.

I tried with 2 vanilla ships (because i have other mods like XR ships) and i dont get the TP whatever i do it's gameover...I created a new game with this so i don't see the problem at all, what method it uses to detect the death ? 0 structure points ?

so glad I got this mod. If I lose a ship, then fine, but to lose the game (and hence have to load a save from an hour ago) because you got popped just because you wanted to fly a fighter in a large scale battle is really bad game design to me. This solves this problem.

It makes it feel like you rushed to the transporter just as you are blowing up... cool.

I love how this mod saves you even if you are in your spacesuit, its actualyl really cool to imagine boso quickly teleporting you out of your damaged suit. Would be cool if that happens that your spacesuit equipment got destroyed though!
