Amazing starting CV!!! For real. Good room for add guns and more turrets. :stein::steamthumbsup: However, since it's from 2019, it needs some easy-to-do updates. I added 2x CPU Extenders T3 in the main aisle of the ship. Also replaces the upper and lower Thrusters L with 4x Thrusters M in each. No RCS T2 is needed, in fact no RCS is needed at all, because these thrusters are VERY powerful. So I removed the RCS. Added Detectors and Shield (in front of Offline Protection). And it's still Unlocked Level 15! Unique problem: no farm!

Another player in my server gave me this as a hand-me-down starter CV and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Sure is tough to fit a big shield in it :awoo:

I beefed this up by putting a bunch of turrets arround the cargo containers and adding some rocket main guns. it looks like someone gave it staroids haha.

Jradall, I love your work brother. I also love this ship! I modd it quite a bit add a generator T2 shield where the offline protection is. Add Tier 4 CPUs, add 9 Tier 3 Fuel tanks in between the Assemblers. Then procede to festoon it with turrets on every flat surface I can get a total of 32 Turrets on the ship. Deffinitly a poor mans battle crusier but as a pay as you go upgrade it could not be better. Oh I have to switch out the ammo box for a controller and and extenders as well. it is not as pretty and sleek when done but it is certainly deadly for a cargo ship. I like to call it Shiva after the Indian goddess of destruction. I also use your stock Pioneer starter CV all the time love that ship as well very well done!

Thanks Moonshine Bandit. Yes, version changed quickly. If you see something listed for A11 it should work fine in Version 1.x normally. If it is for A12 it should have no problems in version 1.x. Anything prior to A11 however could have a lot of issues or just not work at all. I have not yet updated this ship so I doubt it would work at the time unless cpu tier blocks were added. I think this would need tier 3 blocks, but I am only guessing at the time. I did update it's bigger brother, the Charon-CH10 to A12 which should work fine in version 1.x as well. Thanks again!

Thank you MacShell. That would be the Charon-CH10 which did get updated recently. The Charon has 10x320K storage and very powerful lift thrust to move a full load. Thanks again!

Thanks Ieonstk. I haven't yet looked at this one for A12 updates, but I do plan on it. For now, adding 4 T4 CPU blocks will make it work again, but I would like to find away to keep this T3 which I think it could do with the right tweaks. Thanks again!

I am pretty sure one of the the top tier in-built CVs looks like this, not sure if you used it or vice-versa but yes....it is weird....

Thank you Marcel Prayas and Macleod :) @Marcel Prayas, I just updated the blueprint and replaced the ramp with a new one. I also textured the extended cargo boxes going across the floor. I show nothing wrong with it in game, blue print is not in red or yellow. See if that helps. Thanks sgain!

@zerghnandus, thanks again. I have heard that there is a bug and ships that use a ramp are having a bad block error. If that is true, there will need to be a patch to correct that. That could be the issue you were having. I don't know if this is only an experimental release bug or in the standard alpha release bug. I didn't see errors myself but I wasn't using the exp version.

Thanks WAZZUUUP! and zerghnandus :) @WAZZUUUP!, yeah, I wanted to do a bit more with the interior. It was just very tight and any place trying to add the deco or some type seemed to be in the way. Also, I decided for no real reason to keep it class 1 but it is very close to class 2. I had at one point more lights and a couple deco items but it jumped to class 2 and the deco got annoying walking around so I removed it + a couple lights. @zerghnandus, yeah, I like to see the new stuff in exp versions sometimes, but I messed up an released a couple ships in the past built with it before the official version released which causes a lot of issues. So I learned to be patient now. lol. Thanks again!

Im not using the experimental version as far as i know. I tend to stay away from experimental exactly because of all the problems they may lead to :steamhappy:

Congradulations on getting this added into the base game blueprints! In my own opinion your style of builds are the best by far. They really fit the Empyrion nicely and I use many of the ships and bases in my worlds.

If I was to pick on anything it might just be they lack a tiny bit on internal detail eg: furniture in a base for messroom/kitchen/ the living areas you know. But it's a tiny thing I usually flesh it out a little for myself when needed so it's all good, can't leave it all to you eh! :pilothelmet:

Thank you ZoulouAlpha, Capn' Redbeard, zerghnandus, and Marcel Prayas. This was built with alpha 9 non experimental release. I would think it would work with the experimental as well, but I haven't tested that. I learned my lesson some time ago to not release things to the public with the experimental versions of the game as you are just asking for problems :) Normally thou, the exp built items would have an error going to the non exp version. Not the other way around. So, I am not sure on the block error unless something in the exp version was removed from the standard version. I would have to investigate and try it and see what happens. Hey jrandall, im loving your creations thus far ! Very nice work ! But this once specifically wont stay in the factory. I send it to factory and seconds later it disappears with an error message in the console. This is the only ship where this is happening. Any idea why? Cheers ! :steamhappy:

Hey dude! Just wanted to say I LOVE your ships. Using them pretty exclusively on our 3LG server. Just made the Nomad XT, about to head to a Snow planet and live in the Waypoint station, in order to give my faction an outpost for better resources. Keep it up! Would love to see an intermediate destroyer or a mid-class assault vessel.
