I reverted back to 1.0 because I don't want to have this royalty business, I added Westerado, Wilderness & Gunslinger and got a whole lot of angry red text. Are these mods still compatible? Are there any known (popular) mods I'm using that these could be clashing with?

Since the 1.1 version never got published here is a 1.2 version with some updates and improvements. Also included is the Gunslinger-mod (CE-compatibility) loaded if CE is loaded.

The mod still works with 1.1, you just need to disable it, create a world, settle, and then re-enable it. Same goes for westernization. For western factions use the settlers mod.

Hope the update is still on the way. really excited to play a gang of gunslingers in 1.1 like i did in 1.0. but please take your time. i don't know what kind of leap 1.1 from 1.0 is in terms of modding rimworld is.

I'd love to see an more cowboy traits in future iterations. I love the way the wild west blends so well into Rimworld. It's a match made in heaven.

The westerado trait "Ugly" (I'm not really sure this is westerado, but I see the "Good", the "Bad" and the "Ugly" traits in dev mode =)) is giving me some problems, the pawn just stand still and not ticking (rest and satiety is not going down).
I have "Snap out!" mod, so I just sends a brawler here to try to calm down the pawn, then she starts fighting.

May be some other mod causing this, after second time when this happened I've just deleted the trait from the savefile.

We've been told this is due to an update with CE, we're planning on fixing this but we've all been busy with other stuff more or less since release. It's on the way tho.

For some reason all the weapons from the mod have 0.00 mm rh of penetration i am using CE but i have gunslinger right after westerado in load order. pls fix cant lay with mod now.

When i start no one spawned i waited for a couple minutes thinking it was part of the mod till it told me all were dead

I think they're talking about one of the effects of the traits that was added by this mod. I can't remember the name since it's been a while but I do remember it made your pawns more capable frontiersmen at the cost of them deciding that life inside your colony is too cushy and they try to leave

the "gave up" event happens wayyyyyy too frequently. had pretty much my whole colony pack up and leave in 2 days.

@AgentOrange They had electricity, limited to be sure, back in the 1880s you know. Would be great if the author could add simple light bulbs, and maybe hotplates that use it.:steammocking::steamhappy:

Hey this mod is really cool however in the last few days i noticed anyone wearing a harlow hat or bowler hat gets a pink box that covers the pawn completely. When I take the hat off the box disappears. Is there a fix you could do? thank you.

Rimworld Westernization Project used to do that but it doesn't seem active anymore. We've started work on a similar project but we haven't gotten very far because we're busy with other stuff.

Hey, excellent mod! Playing it for a while until I got to the electricity research and it kinda became vanilla. Is it possible to somehow stay in the Western Theme, without electricity and such? It would be nice to build my own western town.

im getting two errors with this mod. one is with the bowler hat. the other is pig-meat coming off of all the animals in this mod.
