Hi @Alpha, please could you tell me, in the config XComMutonElite.ini under the WEAPON STATS header, do any of those configs allow me to edit the disable grenade that XCom can use?

@Nagarider sorry for the late reply but good news is I nerfed the muton Commandant in the latest update. I reduced its armor and health and how many can show up in a pod.

@sykhoo16 Sorry for the late reply. This will not conflict with the advent general revamp. As for cooking my mods I'm on the fence about that since I have no idea how to do that and do not want to attempt it and break anything in the mod.

First let me say that I really enjoyed the new Muton variants except for one. One is so incerdibly unbalanced that it actualy made me mald. The Muton commandant. That unit is the sole reason I have to get rid of this mod. I'd rather fight 2 chosen at the same time than one of these things.

The Centurion looks way different from WOTC's mutons. Can you recolor it to be less dull? Some parts would also look great reusing WOTC muton material layers.

Just saw the new update drop, OP. Just two quick questions:

1. Will this conflict with ShadowCX's ADVENT General Revamp mod during Assassination missions?
2. Any chance of this mod (and your mods in general) getting cooked?

(BTW, call me a masochist, but I'm definitely enjoying suffering through the Muton hell you're putting us through with this enemy pack.)

Motun Honor Guard seems busted. I can never hit this guy even at point blank range while he is flanked with a shotgun. And then he also always gets a magical shield which I dont even understand. And for some reason a full pod of these guys spawns always, I would expect them to be more like pod leaders or something. Why not simply make an enemy with an innate 200% defense while at it? The rest of the additions are great, but this enemy is conceptually flawed.

@LeanWolf Late reply but yeah that seems to be some wild luck. The muton legion recruits have a lower spawn weight (12) as a follower so them being in a 5 unit pod is unlikely especially if you have multiple enemy mods. They have a 20 Spawn weight for being a leader which is more normal to see.

So, I just had the weirdest experience on the first Advent facility; almost every enemy was a mutton legionarie recruit, the most absurd instance was a pod of five of these little guys; is there any way to lower the units weight in the pool or am I the lockiest SOB in xcom history rng lottery?

Really enjoying your Muton Enemy Pack This is my first time using it and my jaw dropped when a Muton Legionnaire dropped in a reinforcement pod in my first real mission after GATECRASHER. Only to be even more surprised when 3 of them dropped in during a FL2 mission. I enjoyed the fact that you included these Mutons for the early force levels. A fun addition. Loving the mod! :steamthumbsup:

@alexusher_92 so good news I was finally able to figure out the issue and fix it. However the picking a color thing is still a thing you can do in the XComGameData_CharacterStats config file.

@alexusher_92 try and assign a color to the muton legionnare. The recruit is set to black but the higher rank version is set to random. Maybe that is the issue.

Also, the pod in which the legionaire spawns, doesnt do anything, just stands there and tanking shots, being no threat at all

Hello, i got your mod, but also a lot of different mods. It seems that the muton legionaire is causing trouble. He is invisible, has no small icon, doesnt do anything and the game takes a lot of time to calculate the turns, when i encounter him. Maybe there is some hickup with other mods. I use the following as seen in this collection:

@OP, I seem to having a problem with the Demolishers specifically after the latest update: they seem to don't show up when spawning in (unlike the other Muton variants), and the game soft-locks for a bit during their turn before proceeding as normal.

Not sure if this is just an issue on my end, or I might need to start a new campaign for this to work. Either way, just wanted to point this out to you. Thanks!

I've gotten these guys on almost every mission for the past 12 and haven't encountered such a problem.

Hmm, okay because even with the setting on 'random' I can't reproduce the Black Texture bug, as shown here;

@RustyDios - I can confirm the issue on my end - both commando and centurion are All Black. A great enemy, and been some good fights so far - just missing textures. Hopefully, Alpha sees and can fix.

I have a visual bug with these mutons. Both (I think, but it might just be the centurion elite) might be missing textures, because when I face them, everything except their items and helmet are pitch black (like visual glitch black). Is there a way to fix this and has anyone else have this problem?

@Dragon32 hope you like the new FX too.. War Cry now looks terrifying when done in a large group, all the enemies start 'fuming'

Seems you're missing a close parenthesis in XComEncounterLists.ini :) Took me a while to figure out which muton mod it was :)
