Annuder good 'un from your workshop. I had to repeat a couple of trips around the map because I didn't see how the "parts" fitted together, but I got through the exit in the end.

Thank you very much. I'm GLaD you liked it.

You know how a favorite (book) author sometimes changes things up and steps out of herself for one book or even a series of them? That's how I felt about this enjoyable puzzle.

That way to get the cube was a new one for me. Fun map!

A very enjoyable puzzle. Although, having read your description before playing, I was
exspecting the turrets to be more trouble that they were. Not sure if I'm dissapointed by
that or not. xD I noticed from Piranha.A's blind run that you had moved the first turret. Pity,
I rather liked your intended method of dealing with it in it's original position :)
Thumbs up for a puzzle that requires you to think before you leap. My kind of puzzle.

Thanks for the feedback, I will fix this as soon as I can.

It's been a while since I've seen turrets used as a puzzle element and not just for fun. Nice work :p2cube: There's only one small trapping issue if the player forgets to bring the cube with them and uses the excursion funnel in the enclosed upper room in the first area. Moving the portalable surface should fix this....

Wow this one had me scratching my head for quite a while. Pretty much throughout this whole puzzle I was stuck on something. But it wasn't annoyingly difficult to solve, so I'm happy. Didn't use the reverse gravity funnel at all. And I also didn't see that angled panel activate for quite a while. I recommend you put a sticker or marker there to make players realize there is something in all that white. Excellent chamber.

GLaD you enjoyed, thanks playing.
Bayram 14 Sep, 2013 @ 6:09am
I enjoyed this map a lot, thumbs up. I did not find it particularly challenging; maybe I was just lucky to think of the right next steps at the right time. I actually got stuck for a long time in the first room because I failed to see the angled panel activated by the third floor button . My bad, though.
Andi  [author] 1 Aug, 2013 @ 6:39pm
You solved it as intended... if I'm reading it correctly and I think I am. Hope you liked it. Thanks for playing.
Hyper946 1 Aug, 2013 @ 5:08pm
Challenging! However, at the end I used the reverse funnel for the cube all the way and then pushed the cube and me. Somehow I made it to the other side with the cube reaching the marker then portaling the cube to the ceiling. Hope I did the spoiler right
Andi  [author] 26 Jul, 2013 @ 4:52pm
No problem, thank you for playing my chamber too.
JayB52 26 Jul, 2013 @ 2:05pm
Challenging it was, I think you need to let players know about F6 for saving as you go along and give some escape routes back to the starting chamber if possible. I had to make my way back to access the tractor beam after using portals to get rid of those pesky turrets in the exit chamber. That is just my point of view, most players seem to have really enjoyed the puzzle.

Thanks for playing "This way out" (my puzzle) and your kind comments.
Andi  [author] 22 Jul, 2013 @ 1:05pm
One was using the excursion funnel on the angled panel to obtain the cube to reach the highest level. Up until then, everyone (including myself) were using the funnel to get the cube to the portable floor then raise it to the cealing then drop and catch it.

The other was taking the cube with you to the exit then bouncing it back via the arial faith plate. Again, prior to that, everyone (including myself) left it behind on the marker, took the funnel to the other side and portaled the cube to the celing from there.

So as you can see, very minor deviations that don't effect how it all comes out in the end.

what minor things?
Andi  [author] 21 Jul, 2013 @ 7:21pm
@ [S.T.A.L.K.E.R.] You solved everything the way it was intended except for a couple of minor things, which surprised me. GLaD you enjoyed the chamber.

Thank you for the great comments. @stormsend I'll be happy to try your chamnber.

I had to stop and do some serious thinking every time I got to the next puzzle. It kept up all the way to the end, no let up. Great puzzles and the chambers were well designed. Looked good. I thoroughly enjoyed solving this one. Thumbs up and favorite. Here's one if you get time.

Hi Andi this face of Fear is awsome! Diffucutly 6 or 7 out of 10 imho. A little turret intensive for my taste but I defeated them all so it couldn't have been too harsh. Took me a while to notice 45 dgree panel just because of where it is. I was in exit room and working my way back to place a portal near now reversible funnel when my companion got stuck in button operated door and got destroyed. My bad, but it felt like a total start over. So I will take a break and finish another day. Still awesome. Based on your desigh mind try this bit of evil: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=137359756

Like It!! I also like the size of it. I don't usually solve puzzles in one sitting so they're about this size I can catch up to where I left off pretty quick. (I avoid the larger maps for this reason)

No, Face of Fear is a novel written by Dean Koontz. The first 25 chambers I made were titled alphabetically with random words or phrases, the next 25 chambers are all going to be named after novels I've read... this one is the 'F' novel.
