I really miss this mod. I used to decorate my beaches with these things.

Ok, thanks for the reply! If you ever do continue this mod, please comment on this again so I know, thank you.

Not at the moment, I'm somewhat burned out on modding right now.

Is this mod still in development?

It would, but I'm not sure if I can implement that. But thank you for your comment!

I like this concept better then the other mods that just remove the debuf, add a new food item, or force pawns to run across the map to eat, but like someone else said having to manually place them is a little limiting. It'd be cool if pawns would place a picknick item out of their inventory (like the bedroll and other mods) when no table is in range.

Perhaps you could look at how campfires and pool/poker tables work. They have several interaction spots but not multiple sitting spots. Campfires might work better for a picnic area, if the item were to be made like a 3x3 or 5x5 or so area (like a picnic blanket) it could be used by itself without tables to negate the "Ate without table" debuff, working in a similar fashion to gathering around a campfire.

Just a couple ideas!

oof.. well then.. the mods idea is cool tho, it requires a specific playstyle but it can work. E.Q if you are building a mountain base like me you wont be having picnics often but if you enjoy the "town" playstyle this is really cool

I did, it's... complex.

you should look at how double beds are coded, maybe you will find a clue to how to make it then
