Definitely not 10 + 2. Try loading up a game like that - when I did so there was one nation whose cap circle overlapped two others, two pairs of nations whose cap circles touched each others', and no nations who had more than one space b/tw their cap circle and another... but some had 4-5 nations that close, and some had 1-2. The map really can't comfortably carry more than 7 + 1 or 6 + 2. You can play with more than 8, but you really need to adjust your expectations and be okay with some players essentially losing on turn 1.

These are lovely maps, and I'm quite happy to use them for single-player, but they're so heavily interconnected that they can't support as many players as a map with fewer connections per province could.

This might be a dumb questions, but is this map suitable for 10 players as in: 8 land + 2 UW or 10 land + 2 UW?

Just to let you know, there is no connection between 19 and 33. That might be intentional but it looks like there should be a connection :)

God I hate steam - thanks but I simply see no button to download here - the only thing I can do is to "add to collection", which I clicked but don't see how that leads to a download - sorry - what am I missing??

FYI: I started a game with 7 people, and had an issue with startt locations.
One capital was in 61, and it had 2 (of 7) thrones adjacent to it - in 57 and 58.

It would be nice to have a different placement of the thrones.
