The containers, are only there for decoration. Its been released on jul. 2018. Many things changed since then about container management.
Then its a large ship, so, there will be corridors. But imho, everything is pretty much centralized to the rear and verticaly. The only long corridors I see are those empty on the sides.
There are several cockpits from where you can take control of the ship. Those 2 only the command "tower" delivers really wide open view, so I am a bit surprised about that comment, but color and taste :-)
There are 2 cockpits on the front, both sides, in the large barrel-like looking parts. But these in fact, are escape vessels. If you check inside them, there are cryo chambers. And just on the rear there are thrusters :-)
For sure most, if not all, people playing such big vessels will modify them to their own needs.
I am currently finishing a 1/1 Scale USS-SULACO...There will corridors :D
there are WAAAAYYY too many corridors you walk through that cook you alive, making most of the ship have no point walking around in
there are way too many cargo containers that would make organizing and collecting resources an absolute nightmare, i deleted almost all of them with intentions on replacing with container controllers for harvesting, ammo, and ...stuff.
and then its darker than an alley in texas during winter when the power grid fails.
and last, which i dont blame creator...piloting it, the view is awful. again i think thats just a limitation of available ship parts.
i would still give this at least an 8/10 because the amount of work that went into it is amazing, and i can tell alot of my gripes were done to make it more immersive...which it definately is. overall i really enjoy how threatening and powerful the ship comes off and the hangar bay is just AMAZING
The building mecanics have fairly changed. I would have to learn art of the game again to build ships properly. Not sure I will have time for that now.
Maybe some day, maybe.
If now it goes wrong with FPS I dont know...
Now sure, but I think I still had a nvidia 1080 gtx ri when I built it. and always ways above 60 fps
(on build mod and with 2 or 3 copy of this same ship not far around not to mention other small ships to check hangar space and entrance)
Last time I checked it, I had a 2080 GTX RI 11, was running just fine. with way more FPS.
Its not been updated since then 2018 - not planning also -
do it, if you like - its free now

That is if Twolinks and the original person behind the Ship are okay with that.
Also, sad to hear Twolinks is not into the Game anymore..
Oh well.
just do...
I totally get what you say and that it has been a while since you made this Craft, all I hope is that someone picks it up and fixes the issues I talked about.
It is also an issue I am going to face one-day, if I make and publish my own Craft, I just hope that I can continue to keep up-to-date my creations, haha...
I also understand if you are bored with the Game, I first saw this Game a few Years back in a 'YouTube' Video and now it is like five Years after this Game was first set down and we are still at Alpha Level and there are still massive issues....so I totally get if you get bored with it....that and new Games come out. etc.
But yes, I hope when I comment that people take what I say the right way, even if they do-not like what I say and that it helps Content Creator and Mod Makers improve their work, especially in a World that finds it hard to take opinions they don't like/agree with.
Once again.
Regards.
Maybe some of the radiation have changed since the time of creation of this vessel. As did the thursters also change in design and many others things.
Its now more than 1 year I published, after what I have designed few other creations untill when suddenly I got bored...
No problem, its always good to have such honest and constructive feedback :)
I have to say that I do like this Ship.
There is only two things I have issues with.
1. The internal Thrusters and general levels of radiation....these make it hard to use in general.
2. The hole in the top of the Loading Bay, you can't really use it...as it is hard to get in due to the Cockpit/s being very close to the entrance and it also has no Doors, meaning it leaves Craft inside very exposed to attack...
I am not trying to be insulting but I do think that if this is updated for the most recent Game Update, that really these things need to be changed/updated to match current standards....hopefully what I said helps and you understand I am no Troll, as honestly I do like this Ship.
Hopefully, whenever the next update on this is, the above issues are fixed and maybe you or whoever sorts the Craft, could also add Airlocks to each side, so you can join with Stations, rather than always having to use a Shuttle....just an idea.
Regards.
It would take a lot of LCD to show where to go, but the real issue is that if I add LD its will raise its class. Its already class 20, so I dont want to raise it up.
you should add your own LCD - should not take long :-)
This must have taken months to design/build, great job, great detail, but hell, i get lost on it all the time lol
I have a new CV to publish later today. It should come out together with a SV that I designed for it as well, but not yet finished. Will publish late afternoon
Also TripTropics has the most perfect ship review ever. haha
Class: Advanced Destroyer...
ROFLMAO!!!!
Hope you understand
@CdrCainI get what you mean and I agree 200% but I have to say...that's a large part of what dev's do not look to work at..."realism"
and tbh I really wonder whats the point to put that heat when you get close to a thruster, when you can enclose hundreds of them into hull blocks without exausts... (best example are sv's ....I could say long about that).
it was really meant to match the original outside design...the rest was secondary :-
