This mod still changes the speed.
However, this breaks the new "pause after loading" game option in patch 1.13-SunsetHarbor.
It is recommended to use with the following mods.

Also, again, it will only speed up to the point of what your CPU can handle, the game has safety measures is place to not allow the game to max out your CPU, so you may not actually see a speed increase over 6x or 8x even if you think your computer should be able to handle it. But the game just will not let it happen!

To all with problems, read the last sentence of the description:

Also this mod won't make your game faster if your city is 15k+ in population or larger. The game throttles the speed of the simulation for large cities so you're not going above x4 or even x2. This mod is most useful for small cities (when starting out on a new map) or editing water flow in map editor mode.

it would be nice instead of playing with ctrl and alt for control to actually make it that after x512 it loops back to normal speed then starts again...

when i put it on max it gets stuck on it. and it makes my game super laggy and unresponsive.

Never mind my save games work but the mod doesn't do anything. Figured it wouldn't since my two cities are at 200 and 100k but I figured I'd give it a shot anyways.

This may have broken all of my saves, I installed it and it deleted and deactivated all the mods I had installed, including itself...
