It's to make it work with CoM.

To have the desert area show up in endless, I made a 'fake' area that no quests can spawn in.

hi ! I was looking at the mod files and saw "desert.quest_select.layout" . Does your mod add a whole dungeon on the quest selection map or is it simply to make it work with CoM ?

Yes. The Desert and courtyard have the same rarity as the hamlet and Darkest areas.

Are the shieldbreaker and courtyard areas rarer than the normal areas? Because I haven't encountered either of them yet...

Yes they introduced a feature post DLC launch in which the heros will utter dialogue based on the zone they are sent to.

So, I had the pleasure of encountering the Desert area, it looks and functions fine but when the character's entered it their dialogue was messed up, something about a string having to do with the desert, something I've only seen pop up when someone hasn't coded in dialogue for a certain situation.

At what point does the desert zrea pop up? I'm doing a test run with this, the hell mod and the last of us mod + last of us seo characters all on and its all working wonderfully, but at week 10 now i dont see the desert. Does placment in mod priority effect this? Or am i missing something?

Can you add an area that's populated by collector themed enemies?
Like, mostly the Collected, with farmhands and some shambler spawn to add some variety, foremen to mark targets for the collected highwaymen, and the occasional veteran level collector for an elite enemy (a champion level collector might make the normal waves a bit hairy...)

For the miniboss, you could send in a champion level collector and a veteran level collector simultaneously, or maybe make a version of the champion level collector with two actions per turn instead of one.

-The Desert can now show up sooner
-The Desert has an increased spawn chance
-The Blood should now be more common to find.

It looks like if I go to the farmstead with a shield breaker in the party then it replaces the entrance with a (still usable) giant white block. Also I have yet to encounter either snakes or bloodsuckers but I'll admit that I haven't done that many runs so it could just be bad luck on my end.

correct, you need this one if you want both Snakes and Couryard enemies. You won't need the other ones.

ok to be clear with this, It adds the Court Yard enemies and the Snakes into the endless mode right? so your other mod isnt needed if we use this one, correct?
