is it possible that it blocks the achievement in game of the church tech tree? I have 3 or 4 full built church buildings. and the tree is not free for research. beside this mod I have only unlimited governors. but a changed building would make more sense.

for those that have the mod crash your game try loading it last and see if that works if not try first.....i used this mod for several run campaigns before it started crashing like many of you were saying. So i first unloaded the mod, started the game then loaded the most last and it worked

Great mod. Anyone having a problem where the garrisons wont replenish? The AI garrisons replenish but mine often sit at around 20% strength at all times

Lol, this mod was posted on the 1st of May 2018, and the game ToB was released on the 3rd. Its great that we need mods for these games before they even release them.

Hi Dresden! I third the question. Is there something that makes this not work with Shieldwall overhaul? Have they modded it so that they actively have garrisons of 0? It seems that could be the only reason,. as the absence of any garrisons, like in Vanilla works for this mod.

Hey Dresden, love your work. Big fan from Rome 2 and Attila! Just curious, I think this submod would be the greatest addition to this game since Shieldwall, but it doesn't work with it currently. Your description says not to use it with other overhauls but I wonder why not Shieldwall? Shieldwall, as you know doesn't add or alter minor town garrisons... So could you make a Shieldwall version or perhaps tell me why is doesn't work with it? Having 6 men general units sacking three minor towns in three turns is ruining and otherwise great mod. Thanks man and gain, really enjoy your work!

Im sorry, but does this add garrison to ALL settelments? because Radious does NOT add them to all the villages and towns, so im confused why it wont work together

Great mod! Is there any way to have the units upgraded once the unit tech upgrade is unlocked? I've noticed that garrisons in major towns upgrade, but in minor towns they don't.

This mod is excellent. It really resolves a problem with the vanilla version of villages simply being overrun even by a tiny army. This led to a see-sawing back and forth with you having to go back constantly to liberate a village especially if it had a vital resource. This mod does not make things too easy but gives you a fighting chance and can slow down a big army rather than allow it to simply cut through your kingdom without you being able to do anything to stop it. Simple, but a great addition; revived my pleasure in Britannia.

Great and important mod, but I have a small disagreement: I think the garrisons are still a tad too powerful. As it stands, tier 4 and tier 5 buildings have the exact same amount of units, with 4 already having access to retinue swordmen. That shouldn't be IMO. I suggest having 1 unit per upgrade tier.
Which means: Tier 1 building a single spearmen unit, nothing else, tier 2 spear + javelin. tier 3 + archers. tier 4+ axemen and tier 5+ retinue swordmen
The retinue swordmen are too elite to already appear at tier 4 IMHO, those should be only avaiable for max-upgraded settlements.

The main advantage of this mod is that it prevents the player from exploiting the easy way of taking the AI settlements - I usually have an army plus a only-general army that take the undefended settlements. Now I have to have bigger additional army what limits this tactics.
