Asset broken. do not use. Unless you want to remake your entire metro every time you load the game, then have at it. But It was a great idea at the time. It just doesn't work

Why are the metro station smaller than the normal vanilla ones?

Are the multi-track problems the reason why the CCP instead uses two pairs of platforms per one track?

Will or can there be a multi platform raised and ground versions?

I subscribed but I can't see any new platform to use when I go to the Metro tab. I also use MOM btw.

I'm sorry to hear that it broke. Unfortunately, in the last 2 years the game got bloated to a point where it does not even start on my laptop, so I can't fix it :(

Bad news, the update (Sunset Harbor) broke this by changing how metro lines work.

bazilion months later and there was still room for this fantastic idea i dont know how this isnt in the base game

Sadly I had to unsubscribe from this and the cross-over version. I just couldn't get subsequent platforms added. I am relly reluctant to add any more mods just to make a metro connection.Great idea tho'.

If you have problems selecting the other paltform for a line, try Advanced Stop Selection (ex MTSE) mod. Using this mod, pressing <Shift> automatically selects the other platform for adding or moving a stop, or creating a line.

An option that might be useful would be the location of the second track.
Right now, when you place this, the second track is under the road (say the left of main track) maybe another asset can be made where the second track is on the right of the main track.

Also.. I won't allow you to place more than +1 stop on one track compared to the other. So you can't place the second stop on one track before you have one stop on the other, and so forth. But if you then delete all stops on one track, the stops on the other track will stay put and work. You can then place new stops on that track again.
It will also allow you to directly replace single track stations with this one without it affecting the stops at that station, even if there are several stops.

I got it to work with stops in both directions on one track and terminating lines on the other track. You just have to make the train on the terminating line pass through and then loop back to the track came from, so that it passes through the station. It has to be able pass through and not change driving direction. Then it works.

I realised last nght when this works and when it doesn't: If you have one of the lines terminate at the station, it doesn't work, as the game won't allow you to place stops in both directions at the line that doesn't terminate (I know not why). If both lines go right through the station and on to other stations, it's fine. Also, if both lines terminate at the station, it works fine.

This would be wonderful and I thought was the answer to all my prayers where I get problems of lines interfering with one another. Alas it won't let me put stops in both directions (although it will on some stations). Oh well....

Doesn't work for me either.

It seems that only one of the four tracks has some problem, and that particular track has very few people on it while the other three works fine.
And also, suppose I want to have Line 1 and Line 2 to pass this station and have the same line stop at the same platform, I have to put one stop of Line 1, and then put one stop of Line 2, and put the rest 2 stops regardless of order. Trying to put two stops of one line on the same platform is impossible. I have no idea whether the two problems have any relationship.

I keep struggling with this and the + platform. I can't get the stops to go as they should.

I simply cannot make place of a second stop on same platform even if done as in your description under "Cannot find path".

Just tried it myself and got it working beautifully, WITHOUT MODS! You sir are awesome.

Works fine here. I would love to see more multi-platform stations that don't require mods.
