(1) There are two ways to handle it:

A. Cut off train line that is going outside the city and connect inbound train line to a station. Any random train generated by game will stop there, drop passengers. Then connect your city line to that station and use high speed trains on that specific line.
B. Use Advanced Vehicle Options and disable FLIRT trains from random spawning, and keep only ICE trains to be spawned. That way you can assign FLIRTs yourself on custom lines you make.

(2) In addition to that, you can use either a. Improved Public Transport 2 or b. Transport Lines Manager to create your custom train networks. With either mod, it is possible to select custom trains for custom lines, so option B I proposed above becomes redundant. I still recommend to cut off train line, at least for passenger and make a station at the border of the map. It will allow you to regulate inbound traffic much better. You can keep train line still connected to the city, for cargo purposes. If it's the case, use Traffic President mod to disable passenger traffic on a portion of the line, just after the passenger station branch, so passenger trains will be forced to drop people in your end of the map station.

I looked for some tips that probably I just missed. Do you have any suggestions how to set these trains (maybe by using Improved Public Transport2) for intercitiy purposes only? I built a high speed line (that you made) which is only connected to my central satation, and I don't want to use these trains for local purposes. I rather use Flirt trains for that on my regular speed lines.

Again, this is a prop pack not a vehicle. Vehicles and prop packs have no relation or whatsoever to work in the game. You need prop pack if you want to decorate your train yards. Otherwise they dont assist vehicles nor required to make vehicles work.

After some more testing:
I don't need the 8 vehicles one because my stations are not long enough.
And I also removed this additional prop pack because just enableing the 4 vehice ICE without the prop pack looks the same and works perfectly.

This is not a train asset to begin with, it's a prop pack. If you want ICE in the game, you need;1. Advanced Vehicle Options mod to disable default trains and 2. Improved Public Transport 2 to assign ICE or any other workshop train on specific lines.

Previous prop pack was bugged sorry about that.
