Seems like that there is a bug in the mod which causes this. Probably the root cause somewhere in factions.xml or expansion factions

Hi, I have noticed in this mod in multiplayer the player doesn't start with the starting landing zone unlocked on planets. Is this the mod or base game multiplayer GC? I've explored all of the files but can't find where this would be controlled

this mod just makes AI to occupy third faction slot.
in vanila game the is 1v1 MP GC. with this mod it 1player vs 1player vs AI

@Delta I've created quite a detailed sub-mod of this mod to allow hero construction and have a tech tree for the heroes, as well as a full rebalance of the consortium. Do I have your permission to upload it on to the workshop? It's heavily based on your mod so won't post it if it's a no no :)

I saw this issue sometimes with other mods. It's base game bug. Try relaunching the game

Launching the mod in the 32 bit version seems to just enable the controls in the background main-menu cutscene. When you then hit escape, the mod still didn't load but the mouse is gone. is this mod fully broken or does it still work?

I've managed to learn how to change the difficulty, what controls the starting units? We are trying to do a tech level 1 playthrough but the Empire starts with 2 star destroyers so we want to turn off the hero spawns and advance tech normally. I'll keep looking through the files and try to figure it out but would appreciate it if you have time to point me in the right direction :)

Hi! Sure, you need to open MCAI.meg using MEG editor and extract DIFFICULTYADJUSTMENTS.XML and make changes here. As far as I remeber in the MP GC normal difficulty is applied to all bots, so make changes to <Difficulty_Adjustment Name="Normal_Default">. I suggest to start from property Credit_Multiplier and set it to 10.

Hi, loving this mod. It seems that the AI or something is set to very easy or reasy (reading the comments I see a lot of complaints about balance so it's likely been re-balanced) Is there any way to get the updated version on different difficulties? I don't mind making changes myself or learning how to do it if someone can point me in the right direction.

steam version (even 32bit one) is much newer then on cd,gog,origin. So i believe you cant play together

Regarding your previous message Blackburn. Have you tried using this tool? It lets you compare differences in folders. Not sure if it would help.

A lot of things changed internally and I'm afraid that it had became too tricky for me at the moment.
About 32 bit version, we've tested it a copule days ago with Blackburn and it worked

I have been trying to get this to work, but it doesn't seem to work I made it 32 bit, I loaded the steam mod and replaced the executable, and everything, but it won't work. I got 1v1v1 to work, but not with this mod at the same time. Is it because you updated the 1v1v1 to x64 and that changed something to things other than the executable?

I haven't tried this yet. But just curious, if you are the republic, your friend is the empire and you are attacking the pirates, and in the match there are citizens who fight for the empire, can then your friend also play, although just as the citizens?

Piggybacking off Zach. I think because the executable you've got is for oldschool 32 bit exe. (who would have predicted petrogods updating the game 17 years later) can you make the changes to the 64 bit variant

Thanks for the tip. I will say that I hope you do fix the synchronization errors that show up when you play as the AI team because making purchases for it while it does the dirty work of attacking and moving ships around is actually really fun especially for a beginner playing against a seasoned veteran.

in this case the best defense is attack. If AI attacks, no matter that the difficulty is it will always win in auto-resolve bcs it calculates chances before attack and attacks only if 100% sure

we ran a test where I played as the rebel AI just to see what they were doing. When they made their first strike I selected to play the match with my friend then let him fight the AI and he did easily win. The question is though, what kind of fleet does it take to defend against the initial strike via Auto Resolve?

Hey there, I just played this mod with my friend on Gateways with the Rebels as the AI and the rebels immediately began ripping through our planets like tissue paper. We didn't win a single match against them. Is it supposed to be this difficult to survive?

You can attack only AI and don't fight against human player, it will be some form of coop game

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but you can play it like coop against AI
