So if you want things accelerated you need the sacrifice the quality of the worldgen. I don't think anyone would really want this but I could always sneak this in the configs... comes with its risks.
It's a lot of work, but you should take your time with it and if you have any questions while doing it we can provide answers : D

So, in just a bit you can try to grab the update and the message will not show again. Eventually if it doesn't update correctly I can suggest to unsub from the mod, reload the game, and get it back, this usually solves all updating issues
Please say, do you planned added Russian language?
Otherwise I don't know of any writen or video guide of the mod in english. And I wouldn't have the time to do make one with everything else I'm working on.
Now about the Fruit Flies... when summer comes, the Wild Rose Bushes found in the red part of the forest will grow Rose Hips, those fruits can be harvested and used for cooking : D
You will notice that the bush and fruits have freshness and can spoil on the bush too. If you let the Rose Hips spoil on the bush this will turn into a spawner for hostile flies and they will roam around it, and respawn, until the spoiled fruits are removed from the bush. So during this season you need to keep those bush clean for your safety.
But when the season ends the pest will be dealt with automatically.
To answer your question still, I don't know if I should be doing this because they are skins for official game content, and I only know that I was allowed to add them under the way we've done it. I don't want to go in risky territories and start causing problems with skin stuff within the mod community by doing it differently. ;_;
It would be possible for other mods to add in-game our skins using whatever other skin functions there are, but I won't do it myself because this is the wrong move (breaks with even more mods) and takes lots of time, and I will not distribute them decompilled.
The most realistic way for you to be using Cherry Forest skins bug-free is ask the other mods to use the same API as us. Or don't use their / ours. At any rate we need more unity. : )
As for the incompatibilities between the different skin APIs, I'm sorry but nothing can be done about it. To us, the one we use in all of our mods is reliable and in the rulebook of Klei and that is the most important.
And regardless of which system a mod creates or makes use of, there will always be conflicts between it, and another. We can only move the issue but never solve it because the problem isn't exclusively from our decision, but everyone's. Still, from our side we've done things well and are compatible with the biggest share of other mods with skins. : )

@qinyu Everything works fine on my end but if you have some crash log you can submit it in the topic over and I will inspect what could be wrong. There's some data as for how to do it if you need help with it. : )
