Morrowind Imports

This is still awesome in 2021 in vanilla Skyrim. Thanks for some great immersion and logic.

@Stirling there is another interesting way to overcome that bug and unlock interesting dialogue, when you steal that ring instead of planting it and blaming Brand-Shei for thievery and making him go to jail you can just drop the ring on the ground, this will unlock funny comment from Brynjolf and I always recommend doing it this way 'cause it is way more fun ;)

Finally i can have good armor and look good to lollol

Anyone getting this mod is adviced to get the unofficial patch, too. There's a bug that leaves Brand-Shei stuck in his prison, thus disabling his shop, when you start on the Thieves' Guild questline.
RavenantFlock 22 Jan, 2015 @ 6:56am
this actually goes well with the morrowind imports & netch leather armor mods. thanx for giving out the brand shei command too. it'll be useful if i ever lose the prison fix mod.

@Nazgar Awesome thanks

@Cynical Sadist that's a bug that was never fixed in the base game but was in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch or using the console commands set TG00BrandSheiJail to 0 . Hope that helps.
Western Iron 19 Jan, 2015 @ 7:43pm
my only question is if brand shei will still be able to sell his wares even after being framed by the thieve's guild as it seems he never returns to his stall afterwards in unmodded skyrim
Zoron 11 Jan, 2015 @ 2:16pm
@ravenwolf2 it does not conflict since neither have NOTHING to do with brand-shei, sadris used wares, or the new gnisis corner club. It only edits them, nothing else as far as I know.
RavenantFlock 16 Nov, 2014 @ 5:27am
would this conflict with the morrowind border trading shack or fortgnisis mods?
twinkluvr69 13 Oct, 2014 @ 11:30pm
I always thought it was weird that nothing Brand-Shei sold actually came from Morrowind. I'm glad this mod exists.

This mod is very good, but i noticed something curious, you said that the nordic carved armor is more attuned to Solstheim than to Morrowind, but the armor is "universal", bandits wear it in both Skyrim and Solstheim, so i think it should be included in this mod. And one more thing, using this mod without the Dragonborn DLC will prevent Skyrim from starting! Very nice mod! It added a lot of immersion to the game!
K1ngCraft 20 Mar, 2014 @ 2:02pm
It was alright, but not what I expected. Just added items from the Dragonborn DLC to the merchant.
caffeinatednightowl 18 Jan, 2014 @ 1:02am
Not working for me...is there possibly a conflict with the Unoffical Skyrim patches? I have all of them, and they let the poor guy out of jail, so maybe it conflicts with that, since Brand-shei does not sell any morrowind imports at all.

Also is it possible that it only works after you've gone to Solstiem?
Big Anoos 29 Dec, 2013 @ 8:42am
You should do this one every Dunmer Vendor
Mew Mew 29 Aug, 2013 @ 11:39am
I seem to be having a small issue with this mod lately. When I first started using it, it worked fine. Now, though, Brand-Shei doesn't seem to carry anything from Morrowind anymore. The elves in Windhelm still do, but Brand-Shei has never had anything in his stall my current playthrough. I'm not sure what could be preventing him from stocking items that ISN'T preventing the others from doing the same.
KittyHead 19 Aug, 2013 @ 7:45pm
I tried using this mod, however, it prevents Skyrim from starting.
Majikthyze 21 Jun, 2013 @ 10:05pm
i saw this a while before i got dragonborn and thought it was such a good idea. finally found it again lol

I cant start skyrim with this mod :/
too bad, i was looking forward2 it.
Thor_Anuth 26 Apr, 2013 @ 7:00am
This mod causes a crash at launch for me. I haven't the time or the inclination to go through all of my 70+ active mods to work out which one it's conflicting with, but I'd hazard a guess that it's probably something like the Rich Merchants mod, or one of the other mod which effects merchants.
Mew Mew 21 Apr, 2013 @ 2:32pm
Definitely installing this later. I was just wondering a bit ago if Brand-Shei started selling Morrowind goods now that I have Dragonborn, but apparently not. Will be nice to be able to pick up a few things from there without having to go back all the time.
Big Anoos 21 Apr, 2013 @ 8:17am
smart mod :)
madd_larkin 28 Mar, 2013 @ 10:08pm
Great mod, I had to go and break Brand-Shei out of prison to get the most out of it but well worth the effort :-)
Kayomn 1 Mar, 2013 @ 12:39pm
One of the very few mods that I use Workshop to get. This was a great idea.
DemonLordRazgriz 21 Feb, 2013 @ 5:03am
I'm unable to interact with Brand-Shei, and I've got no mods that affects him. :/
Mighty BELLEGAR! 19 Feb, 2013 @ 5:44pm
@booch: how could your game progress possibly effect your connection to these servers?
Booch 19 Feb, 2013 @ 4:47pm
i had tried to download this before ever going to Solstheim but it didn't seem to work. it wouldn't download successfully and both Steam and NMM would lag a bit while trying. is it possible you have to have actually travel there before the mod will work?
(p.s. it's working now; i travelled there, closed the game and downloaded the mod successfully on NMM)

Good mod
Mad Tod 18 Feb, 2013 @ 1:35am
Great mod though, definitely something I would have done, I'll probably get it on Nexus though.
Mad Tod 18 Feb, 2013 @ 1:33am
@snowskeeper, Bethesda could have done this themselves, as for leaving the old file alone in Fallout: New Vegas once you had completed Honest Hearts you could buy the DLC weapons for standed merchants and its basicly the same thing.

@Pleeko, how is it a spoiler, its not IN Morrowind, its an island of the coast of Morrowind and it was also the location of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind DLC, Bloodmoon.
Araedi 18 Feb, 2013 @ 12:17am

This is such a simple alteration, yet ingenious. This should have been in the vanilla DB download, but this mod fixes that up nice and neat. Kudos!!
Breton Warrior 17 Feb, 2013 @ 12:34pm
Very Nice Idea, I agree with Brand-Shei in particular, his comments never made any sense? The only negative to Dragonborn (not this Mod) is that the 'Drinks' do not have the same 'effects' as the original Morrowind ones. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Potions

Nice job of reinforcing lore in Skyrim! Always good to see this kind of detail.

@good65 and borshikc - learn how to be a part of the community rather than commenting for no good reason - you just make yourselves look foolish.
CowboyCrash 16 Feb, 2013 @ 8:02am
Of course it requires Dragonborn. That is the first sentance to start the description.
Romeo The Oracle 16 Feb, 2013 @ 7:45am
Does it require Dragonborn?
