airtight small grid is not something i do very often if at all. I will look into it.
It should be a simple code change. then a quick test. When i can get to it, maybe tonight.

I am not sure what the problem is for you and your friends. The Conveyor Adapters work as intended for me.
Is there a way you can post the grid or a video of what the problem is?

yeah nah we can't get anything to go through any of the ports, we know about item sizes. The containers are acting like they aren't connected

The conveyor HD adapter only has one larger Conveyor port, and 21 smaller ports, Limiting what can go through it.
The conveyor HD Frame adapter has two larger Conveyor ports, and 12 smaller ports.
Make sure you are using the correct adapter as a lot of components cannot go through the smaller Conveyor.

The author says, or at least implies, that there's a technical/buggy reason why it won't work, I'm just it's incorrect.

I remember seeing a conveyor frame where on it's medium-grid face there was ALSO connection points for up to 8 (not all nine, the center was left out) small grid conveyor blocks such that you could use that face for a medium conveyor connection or up to all eight sg conveyors. I'll see if I can find the mod to give you a better idea..

Is a medium grid frame that also accepts & conveyors 3x3 small grid possible? (if that made sense.)

It's been a while since I looked, but I think the mounting points can be changed in the code.

@Johny Just had a look and it looks like it might have been intended from the original author. But I cannot say. That front side does match the in game small grid conveyor hub as it has no mounting points in the middle on the large conveyor ports. Why it was done on one side and not the other I do not know.

@Johny I just updated the code. I never checked any of the mounting points. But, I will have a look and see.

only slight issue on the model with large port on the 2 faces and the small ports all around the edges it seems to only allow mounting on one of the 2 large port faces? is this intended/bug or am i doing something wrong?

Hey, yeah, it works great. I love using advanced rotors to abuse cheaper small grid stuff for my bases and stations (like o2 generators, antennae, beacons, etc.)

I do think that simple QOL mods like this are the backbone of a good modding community, even if they don't get the appreciation of huge thrusters or skyrim sex mods or whatever.

This looks fantastic. If it doesn't work I'll come back and complain. Otherwise, assume a glowing review! Haha!
