@Eclipse the Dragon
The furniture ones, yes! The throwable ones unfortunately not, as that is how they work in dark souls!
Eclipse the Dragon 18 Jun, 2018 @ 8:21pm
can yo pick them back up if needed?

Looks like you drop... a radioactive icecream xD

Nice mod, thank you!
Audie  [author] 14 Jan, 2018 @ 8:08pm
Furniture versions are now available! Find them in the wooden/industrial workbench. I'm pretty happy with them, they seem suitably mesmerizing if I do say so myself!
Pfc. Hungry P Tiredman 14 Jan, 2018 @ 2:07pm
That'd definitely work! I just want 'em for making some pretty gardens or what have you, y'know?
Audie  [author] 14 Jan, 2018 @ 1:43pm
@AUTISMUS MAXIMUS
I've gotten a few requests for this so I suppose I might as well make them! Unfortunately, there's no way (that I can think of anyways) to keep the randomness when placing the prism stones as furniture- so instead there'll just be several crafting recipes covering each color.
Pfc. Hungry P Tiredman 14 Jan, 2018 @ 11:19am
Do they turn into furniture type items when the placeholder projectile hits? If not, could we get some furniture placeable ones? For science, of course.

So when do we get the Dark Souls Dragon Head
Magnus 1 Dec, 2017 @ 4:54pm
That makes sense, good job and thanks.
Audie  [author] 1 Dec, 2017 @ 4:39pm
@Magnus
It took me a long time to figure it out; I ended up scrapping the idea of writing a lua script to randomize the color and instead randomized the projectile itself! The item you throw is actually a placeholder object for spawning another prism stone at random from a list; each of those prism stones has its own color (and could also have its own properties if desired, such as custom particle effects, etc). This also conveniently made it possible to make the chime sound when the placeholder object hits the ground and spawns a prism stone, which makes it function a little closer to Dark Soul's version.
(Also, I love your mods!)
Magnus 1 Dec, 2017 @ 2:32pm
How did you make the color be random? I struggled with that long ago.

Very cute mod. Sadly I won't be grabbing it 'cause my friend can be a smartass with things that lag us (He placed 12 smoke machines in my laboratory)

@Specter Corvix Thaaaaat's a mood.

Dislike, the stones on the pic are asymetrically placed
ThatOneWolfieBoi 24 Nov, 2017 @ 6:20pm
@Audie

I know i was just saying whonder when more stuff from dark souls was going to be remade into this game. XD
Audie  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 11:11am
@silver_wolf42 There's already a big ol' modpack for a whole bunch of dark souls items and armors/weapons! Prism stones was just something that, as I understand, they weren't able to add

@Shota Jolteon Unfortunately, I don't think I could randomize a buildable version of the prism stone even if I wanted to! Sorry!
ThatOneWolfieBoi 24 Nov, 2017 @ 5:30am
Dark souls prism stones . . . wonder when more dark souls items will be made into a mod for this game.
Dommy Mommy Dredge 23 Nov, 2017 @ 2:17pm
Is there a placeable version of these? I'd love to build something with them
Thomasat 23 Nov, 2017 @ 1:47pm
Oh, alright, then thank you Audie
Audie  [author] 22 Nov, 2017 @ 7:54pm
@A Bad Username (I'm an idiot) Unfortunately not! I want to keep them as similar as possible to Dark Soul's versions.
If you do want something similar to prism stones that deal damage, my other mod has marbles that function nearly the same, while also dealing damage to anything that walks over them!
Thomasat 22 Nov, 2017 @ 6:07pm
can you use the stones as a weapon? that would be amazing if that funcion was applied in this mod
UAF_FINN 22 Nov, 2017 @ 12:45pm
Cool mod and reference, subbed.
Audie  [author] 22 Nov, 2017 @ 11:52am
@Link Nebulakitteh The Souls that are Dark, yes.
UAF_FINN 22 Nov, 2017 @ 10:10am
Dark Souls?

Frackin Universe made my pc have virtualy no storage space. Its a flipping big mod.
Audie  [author] 19 Nov, 2017 @ 10:36am
(shameless self-promotion aside, there are tons of mods that add great throwable items- frackin universe has a few different varieties alone!)
that enby spider 19 Nov, 2017 @ 10:36am
ok, thanks, and i honistly didnt know this was a dark souls item
Audie  [author] 19 Nov, 2017 @ 10:35am
@creca It is possible, but unfortunately I probably won't do that for this mod, as I want the prism stones to match as closely as possible to their Dark Souls counterparts! However if you do want brighter throwable objects, then you could also take a look at this mod, which adds colorful glowing marbles that can deal damage or stick to walls!
that enby spider 19 Nov, 2017 @ 10:02am
interesting mod, is it possible to create larger and more brilliantly shineing but harder to throw ones?
Alfons 18 Nov, 2017 @ 7:05pm
thanks for answering my question. :)
Audie  [author] 18 Nov, 2017 @ 7:02pm
@Alfons It’s basically just to give credit where credit is due! In this instance, Qrimsley did the sprite work for the prism stones (which were a huge improvement over my own)! It also gives them moderator privileges, allowing them to adjust the mod page as they see fit!
Alfons 18 Nov, 2017 @ 6:55pm
*mean?
Alfons 18 Nov, 2017 @ 6:55pm
I've been wondering what the "created by" section showing two or more people means (i know it means there is more than one persion that worked on the mod). Another way of asking my question is that I know that one persion published the mod (this is a cool one btw) but what does that man.
Edorathino 18 Nov, 2017 @ 5:58pm
