Cheers for the heads-up, that's great news. The whole "this mod looks great, I'm going to-- oh, it's another Highlander mod, go figure" routine is one I'm definitely not going to miss :P
We don't know =/. Will probably know in two days though.
We're blocked by Firaxis/Feral Interactive here, sorry!
I also understand that it's been more than half a year since the last time WOTC's Windows version got an update, and even longer since the last Linux/Mac update (which is pretty frustrating in its own right - the massive memory consumption/leaks in particular are really ridiculous). Maybe we'll get lucky some day and get the update we've been promised, but in the meantime, it would be nice if those of us who haven't been actively following XCOM2's modding scene could get a little heads-up that Highlander-dependent mods are an absolute no-go for people who can't or don't want to play the game in a Windows environment.
If any of you know coding you might be able to help.
Thanks for the good news, CH team! Maluco, Reality Machina, robojumper, leaderenemyboss, hotl3looded and everyone else involved, thanks a lot!

Hi,
Just to let you know that we have logged this issue internally so that we can have a look when it comes to the next update for the game.
Best regards,
