@koyangi - I use the Realistic Population Revisted mod which will automatically calculate a much more realistic population based on the dimensions of the building

Nice. I have a twin tower setup for this in my current city's downtown.

@teldaril Yeah they are a yellowish sandy color for me and I don't have any special LUT installed just the default temperate map but ill try reinstalling and if that doesn't work ill try a new LUT

Thank you mimikins! They are white/grey-ish and there are color maps but only for the stripes at the back and sides. I don't know why they look yellowish for you. Perhaps a special LUT? You could try to unsub and resub to download again. Perhaps an error in the previously loaded texture maps.

I love these buildings but is there a way to change the color? I really like the clean white look in the thumbnail but in game its a yellowish color for me

i have to agree with koyangi

It looks nice but 26 households is somehow ridicoulous if you regard its height.

Thank you! I always place them as RICO buildings. My experience is that they are very demanding because they are high density level 5. Just a little bit outside of a high density area and they start to complain because the land value quickly drops. But apart from that i never had any trouble.

I love this, and it's overall more residents that normal (european theme at least) I have one problem with it however. Idk why, but the people living there are NEVER happy, always to few services, or to low land value. Some of them are only content when having the best land value I could possible give them. Anyone know how/why? It's really frustrating (They are palced by Rico if that have anything to say)

Also loving the professional-looking thumbnail

Thanks! Yes this is my first asset. But with the experience from the creation of my other assets it went through several changes and improvements. ;)

This is your first asset? It looks amazing!

This is really nice, its not to tall, its just right. The design is very unique, and I really like it. It will make a nice addition to my district.

Updated the asset and the screenshots.

Updated with new props from Green Cities, added trees to the ground and made the grass texture darker.

Now that Green Cities is released there are plenty of new vegetation props in the base game. (Especially the roof and wall grass are nice) I will incorporate them in my assets.

Thanks! Now that some time has passed i were able to really use them in my city. And i plan to add some trees and bushes on the ground of every version. I am already working on a futuristic commercial skyscraper and plan to add different height versions, too.

Beautiful work! FYI to other users: don't forget to also check out Pylon and Beam for similar complimentary buildings.

The next update for the asset. I have modified several textures (e.g. windows to save space on the texture map), added some geometry and changed existing geometry. There are also more texture details and surface texture for the concrete walls. I will update all screenshots when i am pleased with the result.
Teldaril  [author] 18 Sep, 2017 @ 2:26pm
I have updated the asset. Removed artifacts, updated textures, improved the windows and night lights ( especially the lights on the edges are now consistent ), reduced the prop count ( and removed roof trees ;) ) and improved the LOD textures.

For your first effort, this is very well done!
alborzka 17 Sep, 2017 @ 8:23am
I love green roofs but I think full grown trees are a bit unrealistic due to root depth and wind -- I'd stick to bushes, but whatever you do keep the green grass on the roof (and add more of it)!
Teldaril  [author] 17 Sep, 2017 @ 8:16am
Thanks for the comments. I want to keep this asset free from any other mods and the only non-tree default plant props are the small bush and the bush. :') I wanted a little thicker green there as contrast and to enhance "my" greener view on the future. Perhaps the Green Cities DLC offers more variety.
NoirMoutton 16 Sep, 2017 @ 5:32pm
Great job- but the trees on top kinda spoil it for me- look forward to seeing more awesome assets from you
alborzka 16 Sep, 2017 @ 5:08pm
Damn, if this is your first asset I can't wait to see what's next! :D
Static 16 Sep, 2017 @ 4:57pm
Lovely, the game needs more tall futuristic skyscrapers!
