Not sure how hard it is to make custom icons, All I know is that custom icons require a script file (like this mod) in order to work, which makes them conflict.

So all you need to do is subscribe to this mod. Note that all script mods only apply to matches you host yourself, so they won't work online, because those servers' hosts don't have the mod installed.
Yes, exactly true. It's like when you use a bolt-action rifle instead of a semi-auto rifle. You have to make every shot count more. The only real time when this script can be a tad OP is when used against single large targets like Tanks or even Witches, since the burst damage on this thing is pretty high. Not much I can do about that though, but that's why I have a 4-round China Lake script and an original 1-round script too, so we can all take our picks based on our preferences. :)
Yes, you'll be firing more, reloading less, and you have 5 extra shots when you pick it up,
(6+30 at pickup vs. 1+30)
but that means you'll likely burn through the ammo faster.

Edit: Alright! My gamemode has been uploaded onto the Workshop! Thanks to you, sir, my mod is now better than I could have hoped. I appreciate all the help.
Oh, and do you have any idea if it's possible to modify the mounted turrets using scripts? Specifically, the mounted minigun and mounted 50-cal?
Perhaps, you can create a mutation gamemode with these alterations...
