You need to right click on a model and click "Rig" to find the rigs.

I cant find them at all even if a try searching They arent showing up AT ALL

If people are still having problems with this, you need to use the ik versions of the models for example "props_splatoon\octolinggirl_ ik \octoling_girl_blueeyes". All the models have a separate ik version. So if you're having problems then the reason could be that you're just using the wrong model. Also. It says it in the description.

so i dont have to have this rig for the models tagged with the ik thingy? or do i have to have this for them to work? i do ask a lot of questions but i just want to be sure of things, sorry if im a pest

so when i load the models, and they have when i select them they have the ik thing at the end of it, those i assume will already have a rig?

@lucassmalley2002 These IK Rigs allows you to animate the face, the one who made the inkling models cannot animate their faces while using the IK-Rig

may i ask something? so there are models out there like the inkling/octoling enhanced and they come with ik models, you say that they can have their "faces" animated, and they can be animated either way, does this mean they can be animated more easily and more realistically? im just a little confused is all

@JakeNoPro No, this does not come with models. You need to find a model on the steam workshop that you like and is compatable with this rig (in this case and inkling or octoling). You then need to subscribe to that as well, and when in SFM you can then use this rig!

When rotating the foot by using any IK rig, the knee will also move as well. You cant rotate a knee when using IK rig, so you have to move it instead.

I don't know how I overlooked it, but the foot roll control fixes the issue I'm complaining about. I feel like an idiot:steamfacepalm:

Apparently rotating the foot is what's causing the knee controls to get rotatated as well...any idea how to fix this?

My issue is that the bone orientations aren't the same throughout their chains. For example, on Spine 0 the rotation Z axis is in the place of the X Axis rotation, so that I cannot select the entire chain to put in proper spine bending. Also, the knee translation orientation is set to diagonals for some reason, which makes it hard to place them where I need them.

Why do the Splatoon clothes addons not work with the ik'enabled models? Would I have to keep correcting it manually or is there some rig for the original models I'm missing? (And no, the Universal ik rig by Red_Eye does not work... Does that answer your question, B4d L1ttle B0y?)

@Pyro Right click the model you want to use the rig on(Any Inkling models that ends with the "ik" in their name) and select "Rig", search for "rig_inkling_ik"

I did chose the the IK model. I'm just having problems using the rig. I thought the rig would have parenting and children bones, so I thought I would lock one bone to the connected one. It didn't work as I hoped it would.

@Dark Green Inkling all you need to do is to right click the inkling model that has an "ik" in it's name, then "Rig" and then try to find "rig_inkling_ik.py". If the inkling model doesn't have the "ik" in it's name, then that model doesn't support IK Rigs.

The model has a weird bone structure so there's no way for me to work around that...
