Avec plaisir. Stand with your back against the wall which contains the room entrance. Place the cube in the centre of the white floor tile. Move around so that you are now facing the entrance wall. Place a portal in the grilled white tile above the laser catcher. As soon as the transporter beam switches OFF, place the other portal under the cube. It will roll out of the first portal onto the grating platform above. Immediately move the floor portal to under the laser beam BEFORE the transport beam switches back on!! Now move the other portal to the large white area above the room exit so that the laser hits the cube. It should be directed downwards onto the laser catcher if the cube and portal were positioned correctly on the floor.
If you can accept that cubes can pass through grills this is actually a neat solution n'est ce pas? I am sorry that I think I have found a problem with CH.19 also........

Aardvark64: can you elaborate please about where you used the grill pushing? And you're right, that should not be possiblle. I always double the grills so nothing goes through.

I have just re-read your description above (about small preview) and now I think perhaps I have again found the wrong way to solve the final room :( It sounds as though the cube should have been carried in the transporter beam. I didn't!

Yes both exploits stopped. I had to exit in the intended way I think. But if I was right I have to say I regret that it means pushing the cube through a grill. I wish that Valve would stop this from being possible as it is illogical. Just my opinion.

I just watched the video posted below showing how you did the laser puzzle in the 2nd room. I tried exactly that method at first but then decided it was intended to appear impossible because I realised that I only needed to avoid hitting the overhead fizzler on arrival into this room so that I could portal back down to the first room and fetch the reflective cube from there. I just used both cubes in the second room, making it simple. I realise now this was another exploit.

Enjoyed this one but I'm afraid I completed the last room very quickly due to an exploit. I just held the cube above my head (in the laser beam) and was able to hit the laser relay. Then portal down to the pedestal button, back up and out. Didn't need the laser catcher on the floor.

Ouf Ca y est mais pas sans mal.Meme si je reconnais que le niveau est tres bien fait, pour moi j aime pas trop les cubes livrés à eux meme dans les transporteurs. j ai mis un temps fou pour desactiver le dernier champ de laser. Mauvaise orientation, trop à gauche, trop à droite, et ca c est trop pour etre agréable à jouer. Ca reste pourtant un bon puzzle. pouce en l'air !!

Well, this test was decent enough. The first rooms were good, but the last one was quite uncomfortable. They all also seemed a bit cramped (aside from the lightbridge one and the "roof laser with 2 relays" one"), like you tried to fit as much as you could into a small space.

Also, every single thing that could possibly go wrong, happened in this chamber. Most of it wasn't your fault though. I got stuck a roof, stuck in a wall, the cube got trapped behind the flip panel in the last room, the laser relays in the 3rd last room didn't work properly and the tractor beam flying glitch happened. A fair most of these resulted in me having to restart.

That aside, the chamber was, to reiterate, decent enough. But there were a lot of painful experiences involved with completing it.

good map.
did not like the end, trying to get the reflector cube in just the right position, took me ages.
lost the cube back up on uper level, where I came in (with funel)
dropped it into the reverse funel, lost again.
button connected to the flip panel & angled panel,
did not seem to have any function, or did it ?
when I figured out how to do it, it took a few attempts to get just right.
I enjoyed all the other chambers though.
so thumbs up.
I recomend updating the last chamber, for a great map.

HAHA :)) At the end if you find the right angle you can place a portal at the end of the orange tractor beam, another at the end of the blue tractor beam and voila! You are transported right to the exit. Without having to disable the laserfield. AND: the tractor beams transform into purple :P
