Xtmas update:

Para Bellum - Campaign:
- Improved recruitment and garrisons system: each unit has been revised in every campaign and building, so each faction expands its roster and is more unique. This also applies to the 393 factions unlocked through the Para Bellum - Factions mod.
- Other minor fixes to bring more fun to the campaign ¬¬

Para Bellum - Combat:
- Removed the kill elephants ability, to avoid tha AI killing instantatly these units when they panic, and have more fun with the crazy elephants :p
- Javelins "fire shot" restricted to the Iberians to simulate the falarica weapon, with higher damage but slow reload. This weapon is used by the Iberian skirmishers and veteran shield warriors.
- Guerrilla deployment available for the light Iberian/Celtiberian infantry troops.
- Precision shot added to all archers above tier 1.
- Increased the base morale value.
- Corrected horse archers animation.

Para Bellum - Interface:
- 140 new unit cards for different factions, but specially focused on the DK factions, the Veneti that includes a new set for this faction, and the hoplites for WoS and GC adding 75 new cards to represent in detail the wider variety of this kind of units that brings the update for the Para Bellum Units mod.
- Corrected several starting position campaign images.
- Restored icon for Etruscan league, and new ones for the Celts and the Helvetii faction, and other minor fixes.

Para Bellum - Factions:
- All factions unlocked for custom battle (HatG was remaining), and with the expanded rosters for all factions included
also available through the custom battles.

- Helvetii added to the Celtics, Insubres to the Galics and changed some DK factions military groups for more historical accuracy.

Para Bellum - Units:
- Included regional variety for pikes and hoplites, with a custom reskin for 60 new hoplites for WoS campaign, 15 for the GC, 8 new pikemen, and some fixes and improvements for other units also.
- New new shields designs and helmets definitions, to improve the variety and look of the hellenistic troops.

Para Bellum - AI Campaign released
A more dynamic AI, made with a different approach to make it more unpredictable and allow a wide variety of chances in the development of the different factions.

This AI Campaign can work as standalone campaign, but does not include the characters overhaul and the 4 turns per year buildings and technologies included with the main Para Bellum - Campaign mod, so if you want to use these features, place the AI part above it in the Mod Manager.

Para Bellum - Campaign
Adjusted AI for a better management of the defensive positions in combination with coordinated offensives, to provide the bases for the development of solid empires.

Para Bellum - Factions
Unlocked Grand Campaign and Rise of the Republic family trees.
Rebalanced initial Etruscan army in the GC to allow a realistic roman expansion.

Para Bellum - Combat
Adjusted the base morale value.

Para Bellum - Units
Included the Ancient Women Mod. Many thanks to M.I.B for sharing this incredible content, and I encourage all to check his superb workshop.

-New initial armies compositions for the Gran Campaign to spice up a bit at the beginning.

Para Bellum - Campaign
-Adjusted the initial budget of the factions to be balanced with the changes applied to the Factions part.
-Adjusted and expanded the armies and navies stances features, with a wider influence in the logistics, armies moral and public order.
- Row faster: a new stance added to increase the range of the armies transport fleets.
- Tweaked diplomacy between different cultures and for the war declarations.

Para Bellum - Combat
- Fixed some units not throwing properly their javelins.

Patch notes:

Para Bellum - Campaign:
- Included several Campaign AI profiles (balanced, defensive, aggressive, naval) to suit the different factions and reflect a more realistic development of the empires.
- Added the Supply system & lines mod by Wild.
- More realistic auto-resolve results.
- Debugged and checked the mod tables to try to avoid the crashes that some users reported.
- Translation files for all the languages included with the game. You can find these files linked at the description.

Para Bellum - Population:
- Improved the troops replenishment ratio and fixed the reported public order issues.

Para Bellum - Combat:
- Overall phalanx enhancement: improved animations for pikemen and hoplites, and a new phalanx ability for the hoplites to better reflect this tactic and its features.
- AI now makes a better use of the troops with projectiles, not only the javelins and peltasts, the line infantry throw them before attacking which seems to help them to user better tactics, instead of just rushing.

Para Bellum - Effects and Rivers of Blood:
- Better blood textures on the bodies, more similar to wounds scratches, cuts and splatters.
There are two versions of the movie file included: with the extra effects of smoke and dust and the Lite, that includes only the blood. So now you can choose between these 3 mods: Rivers of Blood realistic edition or gore gore edition, or Para Bellum Effects which is an intermediate point, each one with its own blood decals textures and other details, so I recommend to try them and choose your favorite one. Deleting the previous movie.pack file is necessary to update correctly.

Para Bellum - Units:
- Hoplon model courtesy of the M@x1mus and Hellenika Team, is currently included in the RotR greek units. Some of the troops are shared with the GC and WoS campaigns, and for the rest of hoplite units I´ll apply this model in the following updates.
- Desert Kigdoms units upgraded: the bugged shield designs are now fixed, new colors for these factions are included, and the desert and the armored desert legionaries have a new appearance.
- Fixed other equipment bugs reported by the users, like invisible swords in some units, etc.

Para Bellum - Interface:
- More than 100 new unit cards to better reflect the troops variety, also in the DLCs, and some minor interface icons fixes.

Update notes:

- Improved autoresolved battle calculations, focused on the player playing more battles.
- Different deployables set ups according to the factions, for example the romans have the elements to build defensive positions or marching camps with ditches and palisades, the celts with sharp stones, etc.
- Improved armies compositions adjusted with an historical focus. Some low tier units are available since the beginning with this purpose.
- AI improved fleets construction, specially in the factions with historical fleets.
- AI priorities adjusted and other minor tweaks to improve the overall campaign experience.

The update is not save game compatible and the Workshop autoupdates the mods, so if you want to finish your current campaign here is a link to the previous version of Para Bellum - Campaign:

To apply it, search your original Para Bellum - Campaign.pack mod file and replace it with the file provided file. The mods are usually located in your \Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data folder, but if it is not there use the search bar to find the .pack files (format of the mods) in your \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content folder.

Fine tuned the way the AI manage their budget, regarding their armies, naval forces and buildings construction, also in different situations such as in times of peace or war, etc.
