After further playtesting and discussion, I've removed the army increase and reset maximum troop numbers to Darthmod default.

Another big update. The two main things included are even more economy buffs (to counter the doubled minimum unit size implemented in the previous update) and a 25% increase in maximum unit size--units of 375 become 470, 300 becomes 375, etc., etc. These increases are still effected by the base multipliers, and only effect trained units (the units you're given for free at the start of a campaign will have the vanilla numbers).

Moderately large update. Modified unit creation and upkeep costs a bit more--trading ships are now much more expensive to produce, for example, in order to make it a bit harder to rush those advantageous trading spots early on. I've also increased the minimum unit strength from 0.05 to 0.1, which basically means that a unit must have at least 10% of it's total manpower to survive. I also further enhanced naval combat by adjusting and increasing adjustments of a number of variables. And, finally, I've given a moderate ammo increase to all bow, musket and rifle units.

Naval combat update! I've slightly increased top speed and accelleration values for all ships to make naval combat a bit faster, and also greatly increased the marksmanship of marine archers and marine gunners (matchlock). They actually get a bigger marksmanship bonus than infantry archers/gunners, which sounds counter-intuitive, but in-game the balance feels just about right.

Further adjusted upkeep to rectify balance issues. Temporarily removed modifications to agent skill points and fatigue penalties. Re-adjusted modernization penalties and rebalanced combat units' marksmanship, melee attack and charge bonus values.

A number of significant modifications: greatly increased accuracy of ranged units and attacks of melee units; rebalanced upkeep, adjusted Fall of the Samurai modernization penalties and adjusted fatigue penalties.
