Air Rarotonga Saab 340 Prop by Konkku

THIS IS A PROP NOT A WORKING VEHICLE!

Air Rarotonga is a small airline based in Rarotonga, Cook Islands. Cook Islands are located in the South Pacific Ocean, which makes this little turboprop perfect for your small tropical airports. Air Rarotonga operates scheduled services throughout the Cook Islands and also chartered flight to other Southern Pacific Islands.

This prop was inspired by the real life Air Rarotonga Saab 340A E5-EFS. The asset was made using vasimr22's fantastic Saab-340 template which can be found here.

I've never been to the south pacific, but I am pretty sure American Eagle operates similar planes to regional airports across the USA. I've flown on a saab turboprop a couple times before, from College Station, TX(CLL) to Dallas(DFW).

3 rows of seats, its soooo nice to be on the side with only 1 seat. Turbulence is kind of fun though, we went through a big thunderstorm and it shook a lot. Also kind of freaky when they start the engines and you can smell the exhaust inside the cabin.

In a way its worth paying the extra $100 on a puddle jumper flight versus the full cost of gas and long term parking. In the great scheme of life you remember what you did on a vacation not what you didn't do because you wanted a later fligt to save money.
