Description
OVERVIEW
This mod adds 3 new National Wonders into the game: the Silk Road, Fort Knox and Centre for Disease Control.

SPECIFICS
The following three National Wonders are added with accompanying Civilopedia entries (existing icons used):

- SILK ROAD
- Tech: Currency
- +1 Gold, Culture, Science and Faith
- Provides 1 extra copy of each improved luxury resource near the City it is built in
- Must have built a Caravansary in all Cities

- FORT KNOX
- Tech: Military Science
- +8 City Defence, +50 City HP
- Defensive Buildings in all Cities are 15% more effective
- Should this city be captured, the amount of Gold plundered by the enemy is doubled.
- Must have built a Arsenal in all Cities

- CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL
- Tech: Ecology
- +3 Science
- +1 Food from all Scientist Specialists in all Cities
- Gunpowder units built in this City received the Medic promotion
- Must have built a Medical Lab in all Cities

DESIGN
I prefer Civ 5's implementation of National Wonders compared to previous games and liked how there almost one for each different Civ aspect (Science, Happiness, Culture etc) - I felt a few were missing, namely Resources, Defence and Growth.

OTHER NOTES:
- The Silk Road resource bonus doesn't stack with Arabia's Bazaar so not as useful for them

Thinking on it, what about if I just removed the +1 food from unemployed citizens? Surely there'd be a cap once all tiles are worked and specialist slots filled unless I'm misunderstanding the maths. Still immensely strong with Freedom but less broken maybe? Planning to remove the +2 science whilst I'm at it to focus it more on health, not that it makes too much difference at this stage.

I was aware of the tenet when making this but didn't realise the maths behind it caused that effect. Perhaps I'll review and amend. Thanks for mentioning that.

You might want to change the CDC to give +0.5 food instead of +1. The Ideological Tenet "Civil Society causes specialists to consume half the normal amount of food; 1, down from 2. Any Civ with Freedom will effectively have an infinite population as long as they fill up all of their workable tiles and produce at least one extra unit of food. Seems kind of OP to have a method for infinite population in all of your cities.

That... I had not considered, didn't realise the effect stacked. Hmm... well it's still a really late game National Wonder that requires a pretty expensive building in every city considering a Hospital is also required and since every nation can build it, there is still an element of balance. Additionally, by this point many armies will be using armoured and siege units which don't get the effect. But, yes, it could be exploited, thanks for pointing that out though I don't plan changing it at this moment.

Thanks, as I've mentioned, no good at making custom icons, the Silk resource icon therefore seemed the most suitable of the existing range but I agree it's a little dull for a buildling.

Medic I for all units would be unstoppable it would be incredibly unfair to other players bearing in mind the one in the middle would gain 45/100 health a turn and the others would also gain a marginal amount

Great job, icons are cool btw. May be Silk Road a bit dull considering is just silk icon xD

Thanks for Sharing! Thumbs up.

@Dr_Null
It's a good idea but I wouldn't know how to implement that. Besides, trade troutes can exist between cities without roads anyway but I appreciate the idea.
