Description
A mod to add in Anodynes. Currently a large Work In Progress.



Due to some happenings in real life, this mod has been on a short hiatus with updates, updates should start up again soon.



Currently adds into the game:
Stardust, a new resource that will be used for a few different things.
Stardust furniture (Chair, table, bed, lightsource, chest, doo.r)
Refined Stardust (The 'smelted' version of Stardust.)
Refined Stardust Blocks (Your basic building block made of Stardust.)
Small Stardust Switch (Just a little switch)
Anodynes (You're lovable little Starchildren.)


The items looks and functionalities may change in time, this is a very early version of the mod.

This mod looks to write in the Anodynes, a race that was discussed as being part of the base game as a 'stretch goal', in the same line as Novakids were, but were never fully put in. At this time, the mod only adds in a few items rather than the full race, but they will come. Anodynes are now officially in, but still under quite a bit of work.

Known Issues:
The Starlights seem to be invisible, the issue is being worked on. They still function properly if placed.


fixed issues:
The mod had an issue where it had the same mod ID as Frackin' Universe, this has been changed.
Resolved an error where the lights would still function but the lights wouldn't actually be visible. Lights are now visible, but for now no longer flicker or work with wiring. Wiring should be fixed soon for them, flickering will remain off for the time being.
The Starlights work with wiring now, but the flicker is staying off unless it's requested enough.
An incompatibility issue with the Familiar Race Mod has been fixed (I used the Familiars as a base for the Anodynes in order to make it all work after beating my head off the coding wall for a while. If any assets or anything of the like are found that are 'residual' fromt he Familiars, please make sure to send me a message to make sure I know about it, and be assured that as the mod comes closer to finalized, those will disappear)

The issue where the game would crash when trying to start a game as an Anodyne has been solved.

Dropped down a work in progress Easter Egg seeing as I had to update to fix an error anyways. Collect some fabric or start a new character to see what it is!

that image looks like a real upgraded Novakid but in the in-game image looks nothing like it

Yes, it's a known issue- And I'm sorry it's not yet fixed. I've been unable to get to a system where I can actually fix this from, for some time. I do plan on fixing it, as soon as I can. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this poses as is.

I came across the issue where npcs die when talking to them. I found that it was this mod by subscribing and unsubscribing from each of my mods, and unsubscribing from this one fixed the issue. I like this mod; please fix.
