Description
This version of my Parliament mod is for the Roman Empire. It adds 23 new Councillors to the Empire. I've done my best to recreate the Roman Senate, there is now 20 Senators, 2 Praetors and 1 Consul. The Curia Julia can be built in the county of Rome, it has the same stats as the Houses of Parliament and other buildings in my mods.

An event has been added, Libellum Libertas. The event is triggered when your character has the traits arbitrary, cruel and greedy. You also need to be in control of the Roman Empire and to have the law Abolished the Council. You will be presented with an option, to either grant or deny Libellum Libertas. If you deny then within a year a revolt will begin to empower the council. If you grant it, then the Senate will be established and you will gain a small bonus.

I hope you enjoy, please rate the mod and feel free to comment any ideas you think will make this mod better.

Hi Does this mod work for the Holy Roman Empire or only if you rebuild the roman empire?

I'm not sure I haven't tested it, it should do as they are tied to titles not governments.

Does this still work even with the updates to the Roman government in Holy Fury (same can be asked regarding Byzantine's too)? Thanks!

Absolute power means no parliment.

Is there a difference between an absolutist start parliment, and an empowered council start parliment?
KingToon97  [author] 3 Oct, 2018 @ 4:29pm
Yes, the traits and events are just to enforce it if you have absolute power.
truelove101992 2 Oct, 2018 @ 4:12pm
Even if you don't have the traits mentioned?

The Senate is established if you've empowered the council.

I second what "thebassetman" suggested, I quite fancy the idea of a Roman Empire with a senate, established out of decision.
