Description
This version of my Parliament mod is for the Byzantine Empire. It is identical to my Roman Empire mod as Byzantine simply carried on where Rome left off. The only difference is that a there are different buildings in each mod and each mod only effects the empire it was created for. It adds 23 new Councillors to the Empire. I've done my best to recreate the Eastern Roman Senate, there is now 20 Senators, 2 Praetors and 1 Consul. The Forum of Constantine can be built in the county of Constantinople, it has the same stats as the Houses of Parliament and other buildings in my mods.

An event has been added, Tractatus De Libero Hominis. The event is triggered when your character has the traits arbitrary, cruel and greedy. You also need to be in control of the Byzantine Empire and to have the law Abolished the Council. You will be presented with an option, to either grant or deny Tractatus De Libero Hominis. If you deny then within a year a revolt will begin to empower the council. If you grant it, then the Senate will be established and you will gain a small bonus.

I hope you enjoy, please rate the mod and feel free to comment any ideas you think will make this mod better.

it'll be localisation issue, just add the original lines into the most recent files and it should be fine.

I don't know why but my titles for the Senator's/Praetor's are presented in game as title_senatorrome and title_praetor. Is there a way for me to change that? The Consul trait is fine.

For some reason, I can't appoint new senators or consuls. What's going on? Am i doing something wrong or is this by design? Please help me.

Does this work with CK2+?

It shouldn't as long as you don't delete the Byzantine Empire title.

If you create the Senate as a Byzantine and then Restore The Roman Empire, does it screw with the mod? I only ask because there's two separate mods.

Thank you.

I'm not sure why that's happening. I'll take a look and see what I can find.
