Description
This is one of my harder chambers. In all of my chambers I hide a companion cube and challenge the player to find it. In this chamber however, the companion cube is comming along for the ride but that doesn't mean that there's not another one lurking about.

I've made a couple of modifications to this chamber, it is a little harder now.

Very nice, Andi. This is another one I played years ago. I remembered the layout, but not how to solve it. When I finished the level, I viewed the walkthrough and it showed a more elegant solution than what I came up with (e.g., I didn't use the angled floor.) Quite a challenge. Now I'm wondering how I was able to solve it the first time.

I admit I was indignant over this test. Several times, I got really frustrated at not being able to find the solution. I felt like I was going crazy in the first room, because I had to backtrack so many times. Now I know how other people feel about my maps that do that! I did not solve your 2nd room as intended, although I love your technique--I managed to lean the laser cube against the glass to redirect the laser.

The worst part was the ending, which wound up being much more straightforward than I ever deduced on my own. Thank you for putting in the video--it saved me some grief. Thumbs up for a challenging test!

This version is a little bit easier than the one that came after and thanks for telling me about the trapping issue.

Didn't notice much of a difference, but I did notice that it's now impossible to get trapped. Good work :p2cube:

Thank you very much.

Oh man, the third room with the ceiling laser was AMAZING. I was screaming at that chamber for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do that. Finally figured it out and was like "...Ohhhh. THAT'S FUCKING BRILLIANT". And it was!

No problem, as a designer I don't expect that everything I make is going to be good. There have been rooms that I didn't really care for when I finished them.

Thanks for the comment. I value constructive comments such as yours.

Sorry that was so negative. The entire test was FANTASTIC up until THAT point. I was a split second too late and the fizzler formed just as my cube crossed it.

Thanks for playing. Perhaps I should add some time to the light bridge.

I'd have to give this a 3 out of 10. This was an EXCELLENT chamber for the first 3, but the 4th chamber with the jump gel and light bridge is just infuriating.

If you're a couple seconds too late after making the jump to hit the button, then onto the light bridge, you'll wind up fizzling one of the cubes and forcing you to completely backtrack through the entire chamber to get the cubes again.
