Description
The Privateer is HazzTek's newest offering. This capital ship is aimed at pilots you want a capital ship that isn't just a giant flying box. This capital vessel's design was inspired by our Atlas and Instigator small vessel offerings. The ship is still somewhat experimental and new owners should expect changes and fine tuning as more testing and mileage is put on the chassis. We're releasing the ship early to get it out there. We plan on other versions of this ship, perhaps a extended deployment version that has a garden in it.

The Privateer's main role is as a transport/trading/exploration and reconnaissance. The internal hanger has space to fit several small vessels or HV. The front access port is specifically designed to allow access for a Ladybug or similar sized and shaped hover vessel. This ship does not have a garden.

We've started integrating the new logic systems and triggers in to out ships. No more awkward boarding ramps, they will now deploy and retract automatically when you approach.

The Privateer handles nicely for a CV, our test pilots often find them selves doing barrel rolls in atmosphere. There's plenty of thrust pushing the 42kt class 4 vessel.

Intended for PVE use, the privateer's average armour thickness is 2 blocks and the whole thing is combat steel. While the ship does not come armed, there is plenty of space for turrets and non-turret weapons for you to customize the load out. Plenty of ammo storage to support the guns.

There is a 5x9 hanger in the rear of the ship and a 3x3 access hatch in the front, both fitted with automated loading ramps. The front ramp allows access for a Ladybug type HV.

We've placed a control switch next to the cockpit for closing the large hanger door. Seems hangers these days like to not close or is often left open from manual activation. Just cycle the switch(turn on and then off again) to reset the door. Red on the switch indicates closed state.

The hanger is roomy with room for 2-3 SuperDragon sized small vessels or Hvs. There's even room for some Pack-Mule storage modules in the hanger too or just a few more cargo containers.

We put in a emergency secondary cockpit in the back, just in case.

There's a on board workshop with three advanced constructors and two food processors, repair station and armor locker. There are some parts of the ship that need more refinement, but I wanted to leave a little space incase in needed to add some items.

The control panel has shortcuts for thruster control and other groups allowing you to manage your fuel use.

Updated for Alpha 9. Bunch of improvements and clean up. Modular cargo update.

Did some updates to the ship. There were a bunch of cosmetic changes and fixes, some were to modernize the interior a bit.

Changed the cockpit and modified the cockpit area.

Added the new T2 Repair system and console.

Added emergency access to each side of the ship. Hopefully this will make it easier to get in and out of the ship when on foot. These new access points are fully automated with ramps. These can be found on either side of the hanger.

Added 3 harvester boxes. Now, if you choose to add mining lasers or multi turrets, you'll ready to roll.

Added 4 security turrets, two on both sides front and back. Just in case you find yourself on the ground outside the ship getting chased by alien scum.

Its cool to go public with it. I think its a hunge honor when people mod my stuff. It's so cool to see stuff I didn't think of or another perspective on a design. So yeah make it public if you want :)

Sweet, I'm exited to check it out. Post a link here when you can too!. I think iat the top of the steam page there's an address right mouses lets you copy it and then just paste it, Steam should do the rest.

Hi .. just me .. stumbled over this BP and couldnt help myself .. had to mod it .. what did i do ?? closed the front hangar entrance ( dont need one .. the Wyvern fits perfectly on the top so enough room for hv's in the hangar) and put grow plots in .. made a new personal entrance at the bottom ( you might put a sensor on for the ramp .. i suck at sensors ) .. kitchen got moved to the bottom .. changed the side view windows to the new style .. one constructor upgraded to advanced .. armored glass over the fuel tanks .. thats about it . Now if i knew how to link my changed BP ..sigh .. gettn too old for that .. lol

Ok updates uploaded. Made a bunch of changes. Improved front access door so that HV got stuck less often. Minor interior updates. Added medical devices in hanger hidden behind the shutter doors. Reworked construction room so I could add access port to top of ship. Refined warp drive room. Fixed some external cosmetics.
