Additional info:
  • This mod will only run with Directx9.
  • If you have issues with textures then please make sure shadows on plants are turned up full and shader settings are on highest.
  • This mod defaults to hardcore mode, if you are finding it difficult then change your settings found within the camp menu.
  • Issues with crashing then make sure load textures on demand is ticked on.

You do not need to fight the whitewalkers in the quest.

You chose to try and defeat an impossible undead army instead of running away then complain the mod is too difficult. The whole point is that you are no hero, you cannot defeat every enemy. If you want to walk around killing 100's of bots and feel like a superstar, then you are correct, this mod is just not for you.

also, the commoner trust mechanic is an unneeded level of difficulty. I did something to make the whole world hate my character, not sure what. suddenly can't visit any towns or castles, can't recruit from any villages, and can't go 20 meters without being attacked by random lords (including lords from the faction my character belongs to).
needless to say my save is unsalvageable. I just don't have the time nor the energy to devote into strategizing or "getting gud" at this mod. apparently a lot of people really enjoy this kind of sadistic difficulty but it's just not for me.

way too difficult. I understand it's supposed to emulate the "dark and gritty" environment of the source material, but to me it's just not fun at all.
take the first white walker quest for example...it's literally impossible to succeed, even if you cheat (I tried to do it without cheating multiple times, gave up and cheated. tried turning the difficulty down too). you get a companion with a valyrian weapon but he gets one shotted by white walkers immediately, good luck beating them by yourself. you're out of luck if you don't have a valyrian/obsidian weapon yourself. even if you do, they'll destroy your whole army then swarm you, so that you can't even get a single hit in. adding to that, enemy armies are simply MASSIVE compared to what the player can muster. the white walker army in the aforementioned quest was 250.

Really enjoying this mod at the moment, works especially well since I moved over to the script enhancer. Just a quick note, does anyone know if the bounty Inn quests are bugged? It seems that its not registering that I've killed the fugitive inside the village. :steamthumbsup:
