Melee Fire Damage

Description
All melee weapons set anything they hit on fire!

Thanks to 御坂18520, I have been able to update the damage flags so that you can actually kill the special infected!

This is a script mod. It works with custom weapon models.
It only works in singleplayer or local servers.

I know this is a stupid question, but can you still cut infected with this?

Just tested. Yep, hitting your teammates is very highly not recommended.

As a reference, you incap a Survivor from full health with 15 hits with a normal melee weapon, which translates to 7 damage. Changing this value does nothing to the Infected damage.

ooooh, will have to try that. When I made this I played around and couldn't find a way to keep the damage.

I've been messing around with DMG_FIRE things and have discovered the melee weapons one-shot Special Infected on Expert (except Chargers and bosses). They also deal odd damage to fellow Survivors, so lowering the "damage" value may be necessary.

I used 136 (burn + club) for my Torch script, and the damage is exactly how you described it already.
