Named after one of the greatest Greek heroes, TBD Aerospace presents you with the Odysseus Project. We needed a capital ship that was powerful, swift and tough, yet still relatively inexpensive to build for survival situations. The Odysseus is able to take on ships double the size based on the superior design. The Battle Frigate Odysseus is designed for front line offensives, able to take the fight to the enemy!

The Odysseus is made of a combination of heavy and light armor. The bow and all frontal plating surfaces are heavy armor with light armor cladding the sides of the ship. A heavily fortified armored spaced inner hull houses all life support and human functions, including the Command and Information Center. The vessel is designed to tank bow in, as this is the strongest orientation. Try to not let ships flank your sides, as it is not as tough in these situations. The design has full redundant systems. The ship can take extreme damage and still keep fighting. If the end of your ship is at hand, the frontal blade is intended for delivering the killing blow, it will cut into the enemy without damaging the Inner habitable hull.

The Odysseus is a space going vessel, and as such is restricted to space and landing on lunar surfaces with the addition of heavy payloads. The Battle Frigate Odysseus hits well above its weight class. It has a max crew compliment of 5.
