Description

Introducing the first mech produced by GSI, The Dexter-04 Light Combat Mechsuit. The DEX-04 is a bipedal (2 legs) mechsuit designed for light engagements defending against wildlfe, or some unsespecting tresspassers. This supercompact design doesn't allow for mass ammounts of timers, instead uses a more complicated script system allowing multiple modes instead of just 1 (This includes: Walking Mode, 2. Standstill Mode and 3. Get In/Out Mode). Armed with 4 Gatling Guns, Antenna, Camera and a light-weight design will make sure to pack a punch in anyons face. The DEX-04 achieves an average maximum top speed of 7 to 9 m/s on level ground, making it sure one fast mechsuit not using any form of thruster. Scripts used are 'Easy Automation 2.0' and 'Whip's Artificial Horizon script.'

The time spent fighting inside the 'extension of your body,' is merly you kicking butt in a mechsuit.

This is my first mechsuit EVER. Building the suit was easy, messing with the code... not so much. Please take the time to go over the controls carefully so user-error is at a minimum! :D

Ratings and Comments are appreciated! :D

Controling: 1. Get into the seat at the front 2. Open up your terminal 3. Located at the top, Select *A Remote Control* and take control of the Remote Control Block. Use Gyroscopes to turn.
[1] is Walking [2] Stand Still or Stop and [3] is Get In/Out

MAKE SURE to press Timer Blocks on tab 1 buttons [1] [2] and [3] TWICE to activate!!!!

In the event of an unresponsive Mech, press [4] on tab 1 to restart the systems!

This uses rotors which arn't all that stable in general... Use caution!

Using the gyros as a way to turn is how I believe everyone turns their mechs, HOWEVER, do NOT turn too fast or it may blow up! (Keens issue - unsolveable by me)

Like all mechs, they arn't all that practical nor manuverable. Take such designs with a grain of salt! Also, there are about 6 rotors always in motion. If you have any idea how distructive rotors are, they tend to go off like small nukes with anti-gravity effects (they blow up regardless how simple your contraption is; aka Clang).

Also, the Airvents changeing to red at certin distance is a game bug. Not the builds issue.

@FROSTBITE_777 Thanks! I've never really liked the timer block method as it's just tooo limiting... also, it's easier with programmable blocks bbecause you can doo tons of other things when space is limited.

@Extevious-V I love the work youv'e put into this, the old clunky timer method people used just didnt work well enough, I was hoping for a while to see someone challenge the programmable block for well over a year now. I'd love to see an attempt at making a large mech with large blocks!

@X3merald I play Titanfall 1 and LOVE that game... Just wish the player base is a bit more... I don't have 2. The main reason I'm staying away from 2 is because of the overdoing of the weapons... just too many of them... I enjoyed where you knew what weapons everyone had, you knew how to beat them in titanfall 1... anyhow, the titanfall series is by far the best parcore-fps mix out there :P

M.R.V.N is a Titanfall 2 reference.
(they're the worker bots)

Apparently nobody plays the BEST. FPS. EVER.

OF ALL TIME.

and they would indeed be proud.:steamhappy:

@prbeeney Mechs are not really all that durable compared to say a tank or something. Regarding the lucky bullet i don't think it'll break after one hit... unless it hits the legs from the rear... Just weld up the grinded down parts on the legs then it can take multiple hits.

@Cheif Engineer Caswell I couldn't agree more!

@X3merald I have no idea who M.R.V.N. is but I bet he would indeed br proud! :D
