Fixing your resolution!
By geocartridge
Hello all! I recently was made aware of a relatively easy fix for resolution issues! I was having issues with getting the game to run on a specific monitor on my computer so I figured I'd make a quick guide for people who are having resolution issues as well! I didn't see one on here so if I'm late to the party feel free to let me know.

In order for you to select your desired monitor for the game to run on you will need to do the following:

Locating the executable

1) Locate the executable for the game (easiest method is to right click on Yooka-Laylee in your Steam library, go to properties, local files, and then click on Browse Local Files)
2) Once you have found the executable (shown above) double-click it then hold the alt button for a few seconds. This should bring up the Unity launcher.
3) In the Unity Configuration menu (shown below) will be an option for you to select the graphical quality as well as which monitor the game is displayed on.

End
That's it! If you have any other issues please feel free to comment below, or go to the support forums for more help!

add -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 in game command line options
or whatever resolution you want.

Hold Shift key when launching the game is another way to get to this launcher window. Even when doing this though, the initial resolution shown in the Graphics settings is not the resolution I set in Unity.

Cant seem to get this game running in 1080...it always sets the resolution to 1600-900

it still shows the same resolutions i can choose in-game, but the display select is something very useful!
