Description
*** Unfortunately I no longer have time to tweak or update any of my SE mods; in fact I'm on a complete SE break. As always, 100% of my work is totally free to share/change/republish, any other author whose content is inside my mods should be consulted separately. Hope the community is still enjoying the game and modders can benefit from my dodgy work! ***

Here's a block to help you sneak up on (or away from) other players. It comes in small and large block variants, is colourable with build progression models as you'd expect, and is 3x3x3 blocks like large reactors.

Fire this baby up and your grid will completely disappear from view, assuming you have enough power to feed it!

Whilst cloaked your guns won't work, although all other ship systems should be fine. Your guns will need to be switched back on manually (or use a PB) once you completely decloak.
Cloaking and decloaking are processes that take a couple of seconds to complete.
When cloaking or decloaking is complete, you cannot reverse the effect for another five seconds.

There's a snazzy little fade-out/fade-in effect for all blocks including pistons, rotors and wheels. Players in seats will not fade but will be hidden when grid is fully cloaked, to avoid the possible exploit of character invisibility. If you get out of a cloaked cockpit/set you will become visible immediately.

Block design thanks (heaps!) to BruceCarcharias! I especially like what you did with the energy coils.

Superconductor 200
SSTube 50
Detector 50
LSTube 10
Computer 50

UPDATES 26/2/19
* Block won't cause CTD when being cut & pasted. Sorry about that!
* Subgrids (attached via pistons/rotors or of course merge blocks) will cloak, connected ships (attached via connectors won't.) They come in small blocks so add one to your connected ships
* Thruster flames now also disappear
* Power required is directly based on mass of grid. Custom info (lower right panel in systems screen) will tell you how much you need
* AI turrets will be greatly confused by your ship, and are very unlikely to target you unless you park right in front of one up close. Due to limitations accessing certain functions I can't make them actually ignore your grid but I can reset their targeting every ten ticks if they try to target you.

It's still working for me with quarks - if I grind a large gyroscope down then place it again while the cloak is on, it cloaks successfully.

@killer whale: I don't think it's working anymore but you'd have to try. Back in the day it did work without weapon core. If it does not work there is another cloaking mod that works with weapon core. I can't link it rn though

This was always one of my favourite mods and I finally have the time to play the game again just to find out the mod is dead :cry:

For some reason it wont cloak if im in the ship unless its landing gear is locked

@Jonn19 good to know. And yes, I did try to turn the light back on manually and it wouldn't function.

HI SB, interesting idea. I'm on a SE break and lack time to mess with mods, yes you're dead right in that all it does is change transparency on the blocks (although armour works opposite to other blocks, or something else similarly Keen-weird, IIRC) and probably turns off lights just once. Did you try turning lights back on after the transition has finished? That may work. Also if you find any reference to lights being switched off feel free to comment out and republish, I am 0% stressed about any of my mods being reengineered.
