Description
FOR CONCLAVE DLC
Mod allows you to usurp Council power and become absolute monarch without centuries full of voting, bribes and favors.

  • Description

So, your marshal (and a last council member) finally drops dead, seems like everything is proceeding according to the Great Plan - time for some serious changes in the law system... wait, what? Why an empty chair votes "no"? What is this, a furniture rebellion? Great IKEA revolution? Why these products of bad taste keep trolling you and prevent from any law changes? Enought of this farce. YOU are the King here, after all.

  • The Great Plan

If your council is disbanded (all seats are empty), and your character is somewhat cunning (deceitful, schemer or high intrigue stat) you can completely abolish council power via special decision. No matter how strong your council was before - it will lose all its power and become a consultative institution. Consequences may be very harsh - if you don't have enough wit to avoid them.

  • Known bugs

    - Will be a small localisation bug in a tooltip info pop-up. Haven't found a way to fix it.

there is no point in suffering -100 opinion for 5 years if cant even change the laws freely during it, making this rather useless

Well, it's intended. As far as I know most vanilla events that change law system also trigger a cooldown. so I kept it.

when i did abolish the council power it triggered the cooldown for voting laws, so couldnt do anything with it. was that an conflict with another mod or is this outdated ?

XD i love this mod's pic
im not subing to this mod as it doesnt do what id prefer it did rather it change the saying no to saying yes instead of a decision that abolishes council power also needing certain traits
but just letting you know you gave me one hell of a laugh
