Description
Hey I’ve written a science fiction novel called "Janitors of the Late Space Age" inspired by Space Engineers. Summer is here, if you are looking for something to read - get it from Amazon as electronic or paperback edition, it’s cheap:

Space Engineers has gone a long way. With recent improvements and fixes to the game I was able to put an old idea to use and assemble this light hovercraft. It is intended as a proof of concept and I hope it will serve as a platform for many new hovercrafts of this community!

Banshee is a high speed, all-terrain hovercraft. It is amazingly easy to pilot and can perform a U-turn at any speed without flipping. To make it less OP, I’ve placed only fixed weapons on it and now it’s ready for high-speed duels.

By default, its hovering engine is turned off, but the hovercraft rolls fine even without it. In fact, I recommend using the hovering thruster (default 1) only over flat surfaces or to land softly, otherwise you will find yourself going too fast. When you are climbing steep hills you should turn it off for more control.

It is REALLY fun to drive! I am amazed it works so well. Enjoy it in first person from the cockpit as you easily steer to avoid bumps at high speed. Spawn 2 or more and race it with your friends or duel them in some rough terrain. I've tested it in MP and the wheels sometimes go boom when the vehicle is left unoccupied, never during driving.

Armament:
2 machineguns
2 rocket launchers

Protection:
Light armor with a belt of heavy armor
High maneuverability and speed to evade danger

Mobility:
Special suspension
Gyro-assisted for tight turns
Ice-fueled thruster for hovering movement
Steer it with a mouse!

Possible uses: Scouting, racing, duels, command vehicle

Upgrades: Add a turret to turn it into an unpredictable raiding vehicle. Remove heavy armor belt to make it more fuel-efficient.

Tested extensively on 0.7, 0.9 and 1G planets.

Stay tuned for other no-BS vehicles in this growing collection:

Got you a brief spotlight on Xoc's stream last night! Though the sim speed and my lack of skill didn't do it justice lol.

@Chaoskin - the overlapping wheels is something that can't be made (anymore). If you want to build it in survival, this build works good even with less wheels.

any tip when building it like the wheels i cant get all the wheels to show up do i have to build one at a time or someting like that?

@Tiji san - it was possible at one time to place them so close and it turned out great for this sort of "hovercraft". Since it still works, it's one of those blueprints that have a special value! Enjoy it!

There is one thing that stays in my mind.
How did you get the wheels like that?
