Description
Hey I’ve written a science fiction novel called "Janitors of the Late Space Age" inspired by Space Engineers. Summer is here, if you are looking for something to read - get it from Amazon as electronic or paperback edition, it’s cheap:

Overkill is a reliable, all terrain light tank, able to take on heavy opponents, knock down flyers and base defenses.

Applying my miniaturization and weight distribution experience, I’ve assembled this combat chassis and packed it with cool features, while keeping the production cost low.

Its main trait is its small, tough, wide chassis. This gives you an edge in combat, keeping the Overkill mobile and fast. It can dodge missiles by going over 100km/h while its armor soaks the bullet fire.

With 1-3 layers of heavy armor and well protected cockpit and turrets it can endure some punishment. In addition to its low profile and heavy armor, integrated self repair system keeps 4 gatling turrets and other vital components operational!

This tank cruises at 100-120 km/h over any terrain without flipping. I recommend using the 3rd person view at high speeds. To cross over obstacles or drop behind enemy lines it can glide over impassable terrain. It’s not really a flying tank, but this ability gives it improved mobility.

“Drive-by” rockets will fire when they detect an enemy 50 meters to the left or right, so you can zoom past them and they will be hit automatically.

Armament:
Six turrets (4 gatling and 2 missile) covering all sides
“Drive-by” rockets (1 left and right)

Protection:
Composite heavy armor
Decoys
Self repair system
Gatling turrets set to down missiles
Low profile

Mobility:
Large wheels
Gyro-assisted for tight turns
Atmospheric gliding ability

This is my first 100% combat vehicle. I wanted something durable yet highly mobile rather than a slow, unreliable tank. I kept adding features and reducing the size and cost as much as possible. If you want an even cheaper version you can remove the expensive atmospheric thruster and battery. Otherwise it is easy to build, requiring only basic minerals.

Tested extensively on Mars and Earth terrain against Pirate drones and bases.

Stay tuned for other no-BS vehicles in this growing collection:

i tried to print this out on my survival and the middle and back wheels refuse to spawn in, even when welding or placing by hand, this needs an update cause i was looking for a good combat rover like this.

when was this made?

THat's what I was thinking. Others have said to not let it hit the ground at all before spawn in.

@JDaremo Fireheart - It's an armored cockpit. Point at the slit up front and you should be able to enter. And there should be no problems with movement. Maybe you pasted the blueprint too low to the ground so one of the wheels got caught up in the voxel?

I had a little problem with this, well maybe a couple. I couldn't get right into the cabin area and try as I might I couldn't even get it to move

Oh no. Sorry I wasn't sayign you use Mods. I was describing the process of what I would do with Mods. I enjoy remakeing ships that I find to better suit my current purpose to whatever server I am on. I was just noting what I would kind of due with the current ship you have here.
